Thursday morning I was told my 8 year old dog needed a life surgery. I had three hundred dollars to my name. On monday my fiance was robbed at gunpoint while on his job, we lost our car (stolen), money, and he is now suffereing my PTSD caused by the event. We got to banfield, and did blood work on my pup, found out she needed an emergency surgery. I BEGGED Banfield of West Chester to do the surgery, that I could make a payment plan because we were denied care credit. To our HORROR, banfield denied us. We were told to sit and watch our 8 year old dog DIE because they refused to help. I called banfield corporate office, and they said it was up to each hospital to set up payment arrangements, meaning they HAD the option, but refused. I hope this company sinks to the ground, Vets? You "love" animals? No, thats a lie. The only thing banfield cares about is MONEY.

I called and made an apointment to take my new dog in, for a check up. When I got there, the receptionist was polite and I was happy thus far...the vet tech was also fine. But when the Dr came in, (long story) but, she was so rude and condescending to me and I about cried. I could not believe how she treated us and it was our first visit! I was shaking I was so upset when we left. I plan on calling corporate over this and everything, and I am not ussually one to complain, I have never complained about a vet before, but this was the worst service I have ever received. I will NEVER go back and I will let everyone know to stay away from there! And my friends who go there, I will be sure to tell them to change to a diff vet!

After 10 years of being a Banfield customer with a wellness plan I have finally grown tired of the never ending fees and price increases. I called and cancelled both of my pets plans today. I paid a little over 80 dollars a month and yet each visit was hundreds of dollars. I am terribly disappointed. I tried to hang in there over the years but now I have a diabetic dog and they are charging me a fortune. No thank you.

Horrible...its all about the $$$, my dog was put on an allergy medication, he is doing fine, works well, no side effects..now they want to do a blood test for $130? I ask why? they couldnt give me an answer and wont refill the script...if you take your dog there for ANYTHING..they will do test that they dont need to do and minimal cost is at least $200 before you leave

My dog tangled with a racoon so I knew it was important to get him seen asap. Even though I was on a contract the Bridgewater fall hospital - my regular - said they could not see him for almost 2 days. That was clearly unacceptable and irresponsible. I called West Chester and they saw him almost immediately. They were friendly and professional. WaY to go

Poor communication amongst staff. Wait was terrible, nearly 30min late, and no where to sit. PetSmart was having a pet adoption fair so my dog was constantly distracted and barking at the other dogs taking up a majority of the main aisle space. A very long hour and a half... happy I had a free consultation coupon.

The staff is way too unorganized and does not communicate well with each other. It seems they have a problem with creating and maintaining any sort of system. The manager will not get back with you in a timely manner, if at all. The doctor is not very knowledgable nor friendly. GO TO MASON Banfield!!

This place is a joke. They over charge for everything, never find out what is truly wrong with the dog and send you home with 5+ types of medicine saying it could be one of these 5 or 10 problems. 500+ Dollars later and no answer. will never go back to this place.

They were very helpful to us when we took our dog in for emergency treatment. He was having an allergic reaction and they stayed late to provide care, and did not overcharge us. Im very happy with the service they provided.

Be sure to ask for Dr. Buttrey (she is the best) and ask the receptionist to schedule your appointment on the slowest day so your pet gets the highest quality of care
