Unfortunately I feel the need to report my bad experience with this "A+ dental" or "Personalized Dental" company. I was given the impression that a treatment was covered by my insurance so I went in to the Roseville office on Coloma Way for the treatment. I was not told up-front that there would be any out-of-pocket cost and I was not given an estimate of treatment cost or a billing consultation in advance. [With my prior dentist theyd have a separate one-on-one billing consultation meeting with you in a low-pressure way in a private office before doing any treatment, which is a much more consumer-friendly business practice.] I was seated and treated and mid-way through my treatment while in the dental chair the billing person came in and said the treatment will cost you $375 and its not covered by insurance and you need to sign this paper now. I was shocked. It was not presented as optional or take some time to think about it or call your wife and talk it over or sorry we should have told you all this before beginning treatment---instead just a high-pressured "you need to sign this paper". I felt like it was very coercive and unfair and I had no choice especially since they were already half-way through the treatment. I tend to be an easy-going even shy type of person especially with doctors and dont want to be rude but looking back I should have told them thats very unfair and I really hope you dont do that to your other customers and stormed out of there right then. They need to be much more fair and up-front about their costs of treatment and billing practices, telling people in advance what things will cost before starting treatment so people can make an informed decision about whether to treat or not. If I was told in advance that it was not covered by insurance and Id have to pay $375 out of pocket I would not have had the treatment.

The staff is always very friendly and they remember who you are when you walk through the door and greet you by name. The process of cleaning is seamless and easy. The RDHs are all very knowledgeable and great at teaching. Ive been very happy with the services Ive received at A+ Dental. I also got my wisdom teeth removed, which I was super nervous to do, but the entire procedure was done before I even knew it! ;) of course the medicine helped with that, but my recovery was very fast and painless. Id recommend this dental office to anyone looking for great and friendly care!

Great and friendly office that provides exceptional customer service. Always on time and quality work. My husband and I have been going to see Dr. Semeryuk this past year and are very satisfied with his work overall. I had 2 pain free fillings done. Also, the hygienist did an amazing job with the cleaning. I had absolutely no discomfort. I would highly recommend him for any dental needs!

I have been going to Personalized Dental for 14 years. I love that I can schedule a cleaning for 7AM before work. I always have great service and they explain to me what needs to be done and why. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. As long as I can help it, I will never go anywhere else!!
