I just moved here and was given their name by my insurance. Once I went in for a cleaning they told me they would not clean my teeth until I had a crown and onlay put in. They told my husband they same thing. We did that. Then I was sitting in the chair ready to have my teeth cleaned and they said they had made the appointment to have my teeth scaled becasue I have gum disease! I have nver even been told I have gingivitis. I had to pay $250 out of pocket for this and then they said I need to come back for lasers and injections of antibiotics. I got a second opinion from another office and the doctor there said I dont even have gingivitis!! Go figure! Pleasant Dental also wanted me to get another crown and the new doctor said I didnt need one. When I went crying to work THREE other people said their families have experienced the EXACT same thing (being told they have gum disease). When they ALL went for second opinions they were told they did not have anything wrong. What is going on with this place???

They were a half hour late getting me in then told me they couldnt do a cleaning because I needed a special cleaning. I asked if I needed a deep clean and they said no its between a normal clean and deep clean and I would have to pay out of pocket. My friend in that has been in the industry for many years told me she has never heard of such a thing. I didnt bother to schedule another appointment. Later they emailed me a coupon so I called and explained the situation with my last visit and specifically asked twice if the coupon would cover this special cleaning and I was told yes so I went back. When I went back and gave them the coupon they said I couldnt use it because of the cost of the cleaning. I told them what I was told during the previous conversation. They eventually accepted the coupon and did the special cleaning. Well guess what, the cleaning was just like every other normal cleaning Ive ever had.

Under qualified staff and only concerned with selling clients on procedures that clients dont need. I scheduled for a check up, which anywhere else includes cleaning (in my experience anyway). I waited for an hour for them to poke at my gums and tell me I had advanced gum disease (the hygenist poked REALLY hard to make my gums bleed), and would need a time consuming procedure, that would have cost me $1100 out of pocket. Magically, when they offered, they had just received a cancelation and could do it right away. I declined and wanted a second opinion. I scheduled with a different dentist/facility, where I was told my teeth and gums were fine, and received a cleaning as part of my check-up. My husband has also had a similiar experience at Pleasant Grove Dental. If you are looking for a concerned and honest professional, look elsewhere.

Horrible, Low class!!! Our family went there only because theyre in the insurance network. The dentist there Patel suggested unnecessary patched work on a couple of my teeth and did a terrible job. He wanted to make a few extra bucks. How low!!! I later found a more honorable dentist and he fixed that. My new dentist commented he didnt understand why the other guy did that! My wife didnt listen to me and had our kids do braces there. Their teeth were fine before and we thought a little more straight would be nicer. Well, after a couple years, when she took out the braces, their teeth are now pointed outward and look terrible. These are low class dentist and orthodontist!!!

Amazing modern dental office with great staff and amazing prices. I needed a root canal on my #3 tooth and have no dental insurance. After calling several specialists price became a large factor. Pleasant grove dental gave me the cheapest cash rate quote in town which had me slightly skeptical at first, but my opinion quickly changed the day of my procedure. Between the wonderful staff and the painless, swift work the endodontist and dentist performed I quickly became a fan. I now have an all porcelain crown that they made in 15 minutes, that fits great, and looks extremely natural. Cant thank these guys enough, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I went there not having been to the Dentist in over 5 years and it was an amazing experience! I dont know where all the bad reviews are coming from but everything was good there . They were all very professional, nice and efficient. I had a cleaning, x rays, polishing, and a cavity drilling and was out of there in no time with no problems. Dr. Chu was an awesome doctor and very young too so was able to connect more on a personal level. He was honest and accurate with my evaluation and took care of all the problems. Dr. Patel is simply OUTSTANDING!!! He really has a passion for what he does and, not sure how he does it, passes this "passion" on to his patients--at least I am more passionate about "tooth retention." Everyone from the front office, Xray Tech, to the Hygienist is completely professional! I really like how Dr. Patel is able to place you at ease about any procedures, exams, etc that he feels need to take place. Everything was explained to my understanding and ALL questions were answered. Dr. Patel is who I would recommend.

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Patel for years. He is a phenomenal dentist and practices with integrity. I guarantee you will have a hard time finding a better staff, more amazing dental technology, and a nicer guy. Our outdoor education teaching jobs have landed us great distances from Roseville, but we cant imagine another dentist and always manage to find our back every 6 months. Keep up the great work!

I recommend this place over any place very nice and always making sure youre comfortable and letting you know the exact treatment. I get very anxious going to the dentist and i felt good and my teeth feel really great so they are very gentle. Thank you for taking your time with me and making sure i have a great dental experience.

These people are better at sales than customer service. They pressured my wife into a $600 cleaning that took about 30 minutes, only to find out later from a few other dentists that this cleaning was totally unnecessary. We had our doubts from previous visits, but this was the last straw for us.

Love their office, hate their after hours phone service. My messages never get delivered or they make appointments on days that the office is closed. Very frustrating, but the care overrides it I guess.
