I found the staff here to be extremely unhelpful, and downright rude. I am on an HSA through my employer, and I have not yet met my deductible. IN order to make things "easier" I am given a debit card through the bank that holds my HSA, and any charges that I make on it that are medical related automatically go toward my deductible with no hassle. Well, this outfit would not let me pay for my office call while I was there, prefering to have to go through the complicated claims process thorugh my insurance company when I assured them it would just be kicked back and I would have to end up calling them to pay it anyway. How is this cost efficient? Its just a huge hassle for me. In addition, I found the nurse who initially saw me to be very short and rude, and the overall clinic was kind of run down, crowded, and had a "cattle car" mentality of getting patients in and out. Pretty much an example of the worse in American health care. Buyer beware. One positive note: I found the doctor I saw (Dr. Jensen, podiatry) to be the only positive part of the experience. He was fine. I can go to other places, however, and be treated much better.

Having read the other reviews, I am struck nearly dumb (but not illiterate) by the criticism. Unlike many here, who have been seen at Fanno Creek for a couple years, I have partnered with them for my healthcare for over ten. I find them to be personaable and accomodating....not to mention professional and insightful. Their newly remodled facility accomadates more people more easily. Their support of the community is profoundly inspiring. My own personal issues include the necessity to see Dr. Kuttner (newly added to their staff, an outstanding and unabashed psychiatrist), and internist and therapist (Lauranell Scarfo). Even though I have to commutenearly 30 miles round trip, when I go to the clinic, I would have it no other way. Billing issues have been quickly resolved, in my experience, and at that, dont reflect on the quality of care. And, yes, they too have been insturmental in saving my life... individually and as a whole. I have come to depend on their compentence and quality care.

Ive been a patient at Fanno Creek Clinic since, oh, I cant even remember, but for sure more than 20 years. During all these years I had very good doctors care, both for detecting an emergency and saving me in 2000 (thank you Dr Falley), and ever since, treating and monitoring my chronic condition. I was a patient of Dr Chawla who was great and very personable (she also took care of my mother), and currently I am a patient of Dr McHarris. The nurses are great, very efficient and responsive, and so is their lab staff. I stayed with Fanno Creek for all these years, and even picked my supplemental Medicare Health insurance such that I can continue to be a patient there, even though its not the closest to where I live.

Ive been going to Fanno Creek for about 11 years now. In the past at times the staff from time to time have been kinda rude. In particular the lab technicians. However, today I had blood panels drawn up and I was pleasantly greeted with a very nice tech who was friendly and professional. My physician is Dr, Demetrion who is simply the best. He is always very well informed with the latest studies in medicine. I fortunately do not have any health issues but Dr. Demetrion takes the time to answer my questions. I never feel like he is rushing to get to the next patient. He makes me feel like we are a team and that together we can tackle most anything.

Fanno Creek Clinic cares about people and it starts with the Employees inside the building. A culture, or the mission statement, unique values, whatever it is, Ive always been treated like family. And Ive always felt like Dr. Coodley had time to talk. Im fortunate that my long term care has been guided by Fanno Creek. It never hurts (like in sharp needle pain) to give blood, X-rays are handled efficiently, the front desk ladies are welcoming and the nurses are professional both on the phone and on site. I would highly recommend, and have recommended, Fanno Creek to friends. Thank you Dr. Coodley and staff. Ray Anderson

Have had the most wonderful care from all the providers at Fanno Creek, but most especially my internist, the wonderful Dr George Demetrion, who knows who I am and remembers details of my health and life from one visit to the next, even though years may pass between visits. He got me through my rocky midlife and restored to full health, and my experience of medicine is atypical in these times. He is not only willing, but eager, to refer me for tests or to specialists for specific conditions, is paid a pittance for his expertise by my insurance, and it doesnt ever seem to affect the quality of his care.

Impressively qualified internists who are very interested in their patients and in comprehensive primary care. Im a retired physician specialist and I was impressed with this group when I shared patients with them during my practice. So when I had to change primary care physicians after many years, I chose Dr. Coodley at Fanno Creek and I have been very satisfied with my care and with him as a personal physician. I like their patient portal for quickly communicating follow-up reports of tests, etc. and I wish theyd make more use of it. I recommend Fanno Creek highly as your "medical home."

I really like Fanno Creek Clinic. Theyre always very quick and Dr. McHarris is fantastic and I feel as though she actually listens to me. That being said, I feel very poorly about the services I received in the Podiatry department. I went there a couple of times and although he did recommend me getting a neutral shoe, which I did and it helped, I feel as though he was very dismissive to my problems and concerns. Im still having issues with my ankle and have started going to PT, which he never advised me of doing. I would not choose to go back and see him.

Im willing to travel from one end of the metro area to the other to make use of Fanno Creek Clinic. Over the many years Ive been with the clinic, I have never once had an unsatisfactory experience. My general practitioner, Dr Don Valerio, is pretty much ideal: smart, warm, respectful, humorous, accommodating, and he encourages me to be an active partner in my own healthcare. However, Ive also made use of several specialists there, always with excellent results. The entire staff is friendly and easy to work with. Thank you!

Ive been seen by doctors at Fanno Creek for about the last three years. The counseling I got from Laurenell Scarfo was amazing, but my physical care with two other doctors hasnt been nearly as stellar. I would say, it was just OK. Yesterday, I got hit by a car on my bike and found out thats considered a "motor vehicle accident" and no one at the clinic would see me. I am VERY disappointed to find out that I cant count on my doctor for all the care I need. This review was written by Maria Cahill of Portland, OR.

I was a patient at Fanno for almost 5 years for normal check-ups and minor needs. On the one occasion I had an urgent need for care I was met with a nurse who was judgemental and very condiscending. This was not the first unpleasantness I had had with clinic staff. The clinic is behind the times, no way to contact your doctor without going through the nurses. Their staff can be rude and arrogant and their doctors appear to support this. Ive had enough. Im currently looking for a new doctor.
