I decided to re-write this review... The star is for Dr. Schad. She was very professional and if she were somewhere else Id pay to have her provide my care. I was unable to reach anyone directly at this location even after calling on several occasions. The number provided for Clarkson Eyecare is a central number and you can expect to wait for quite some time before anyone answers the phone. The folks who answered the central number were actually fairly helpful and very polite. This review is for this office though and things were much different. Once I finally got through to someone local (3 phone calls and 2 messages later), the office manager Katie was less than professional. She definitely didnt try to help, and by the end of the conversation became downright rude. They sent our account to collections for $17. All they had to do was pick up the phone and call me and I would have driven up and paid them. Instead, I will end up going somewhere else for my care which is sad because Dr. Schad is very good. Id recommend retaking the customer service portion of your training and trying to help people in the future. It will certainly get you a lot farther and keep happy patients. Not everyone is out here purposefully not paying their bills...

I was very happy with the service I received there. We had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with my eyes but they stuck to it and I ended up with glasses that I could finally see out of All of the ladies who helped me were very nice and friendly. I will never go to any other place

THEY ARE AWESOME!! I was from out of town in St. Louis for a wedding and had an eye issue/emergency and they got me in right away. The team was very friendly and professional. The doctor was excellent as well! I wish they had Clarkson Eyecare where I live! Highly recommend!

HawkRidge Location in Lake STL. Staff was not very informed about insurance. Tried to put me into contacts that I did not want. Did not carry FOCUS dailies. Different staff everytime I visited. Actual doctor was fine.

Ive always had a good experience with the Clarkson Eyecare at the Hawk Ridge location. Nice, helpful staff with short wait times in the reception area, along with friendly, professional eye doctors.

Good service, but they put a hold on my insurance so that I couldnt have my insurance apply to buying glasses or contacts anywhere else. Still in the process of resolving now.
