I have been seeing Dr. Tabb since the day after Thanksgiving, 1998. How do I remember that? Because on Thanksgiving Day, an old filling fell out, and I needed a dentist - fast! I had lived in the area for several years, but was not happy with the dentists I had found. I have extremely sensitive teeth, and anything related to dental work (including cleaning) causes excruciating pain. I was desperate to find someone who understood my issues and could address them. I found Dr. Tabb on the internet and emailed her; then went out for dinner. When I returned, I had a message from her saying she would see me the next day and she respected and understood my low pain tolerance. The next morning, after giving me a powerful type of novacaine, she began working on my tooth. The minute she started, I realized - for the first time in my life - that dental work did not HAVE to be painful and that I could trust Dr. Tabb to do whatever she needed to do to provide me with a pain-free experience. Such a gift! Since then, I have had a lot of work done, including new crowns that gave me the front teeth Id always wanted. My gum health has improved, and my teeth are healthy. Yes, I get plenty of "extra-strength" novacaine as well as "laughing gas," but it is what I need. Dr. Tabb and her staff understand and respect my need for strong painkillers, and do everything they can to make my dental experiences as pleasant as possible. I have also had several root canals, performed by Dr. Steinberg who is affiliated with Bethesda Family Dentistry, and he is equally as good - not a single one was painful. I now live in Olympia, WA and work part-time in North Bethesda, but I continue to get my dental work done by Dr. Tabb. Not many people travel 2500 miles to get their teeth cleaned!

Dr. Badakhshan is amazing! Shes professional, attentive and knowledgeable. I went into Bethesda Family Dentistry just to get a standard six month cleaning, not expecting much, and was impressed with the service. Dr. Badakhshan made me feel very comfortable and was patient in answering all my questions. We discussed different cosmetic treatments and her recommendations on treatments for my overall oral health. Ive seen Dr. Badakhshan a couple times since my initial visit to start addressing some of the options we discussed in my first visit and am happy with the results. The staff is great, super friendly. The office is clean and check in/out is always quick and stress free. I also saw Dr. Miller (at Dr. Badakhshans recommendation) who removed all four of my wisdom teeth, which I expected to be a traumatic experience but ended up being fine. I had no swelling (!!) and recovered quickly.

My experince at Bethesda Family Dentistry was Fabulous, I had my first visit today, had my teeth cleaned by the hygenist and now my teeth are squeeking clean, then I saw Dr Tabb, she was so nice and very knowledgeable even did an Oral Cancer Test which Ive never had done before, I do appreciate anything that will eliminate any desease, I was able to make an appointment within a few days and the time was just perfect, as I work till 5pm, I was able to come in and be seen right after work, the staff was very nice and courteous, helpful with my insurance needs, as they will file all claims for me and I dont have to worry about it jsut pay my co-pay and go. my experience was soo good they get a 5 star from me and if anyone is looking for a good dentist in Bethesda I highly recommend Bethesday Family Dentistry as your next Dental office..... :-)

I have been a patient of Dr. Tabbs for many years; I think I was one of the first patients of the practice. I have never had an appointment that didnt start on time, either for cleaning or something more involved. Im still paying for all those sugary foods as a child. Dr. Tabb and associates have seen me through many crowns and a couple of root canals. I cant imagine going anywhere else. Great combination of efficiency and "caring dentistry." A couple of years ago, we decided to fix my front incisors, which were overlapping. I went through the Invisiline braces process, and my teeth not only look great, but they are easier to clean. They have always accomodated me for emergencies. The techs and office staff are also friendly and efficient. Great Dentist.

Going to the dentist has never been something I like to do, but ever since I started going to Dr. Badakhshan at Bethesda Family Dentistry, I no longer mind the visits. Dr. Badakhshan makes the entire experience comfortable, from the moment I sit in her chair. I recently needed to get several cavities filled, and for each cavity, she was not only cautious and diligent when working on my teeth, but also thorough in explaining what is being worked on and the best plan moving forward. You can clearly tell she is very knowledgeable in the dentistry field, as she makes certain that there are no questions left unanswered when you leave the office. I would highly recommended Dr. Badakhshan!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Tabbs for about 20 years, and Ive been very satisfied. The regular cleanings are thorough and careful, yet gentle. When real dental work is required, the instruments and techniques used seem to me to be quite advanced and effective, so that any pain and unpleasantness is kept to an absolute minimum. But the cleaning and preventive dentistry have been so successful for me that anything more is rarely needed. My wife prefers Dr. Tabbs colleague Dr. Cuevas, but we both are satisfied with the practice and drive much further than we would otherwise need to in order to stay with something that works so well.

Our family has used Bethesda Family Dentistry for more than 20 years. Although going to a dentst can be a bit stressful, Dr. Tabb and her staff have managed to erase the stress. They are talented, accomodating & seem to really enjoy working with one and other which has translated into great care for our family! Our dental emergencies, from chipped front teeth to emergency extractions, have always been taken care of no matter how busy they are. It is great to walk into their office and be recognized as well as see the same hygentist. each time. This practice is one we would highly recommend.

Dr. Tabb, the hygenists, and the oral surgeon have taken exceptional care of my teeth! I moved here from out of state two years ago. A friend at work recommended Dr. Tabbs office for dental care. My smile is important to me, and I have been very pleased with their results. The state of the art equipment allows me to see and confirm the concerns. I have been going to Bethesda Family Dentistry for over 20 years and wouldnt think of having anyone but Dr. Tabb work on my teeth. She has taken me through normal procedures as well as emergencies with outstanding service. Her skills as a cosmetic dentist (when I have needed that service) are terrific. Her office staff and hygenists are all skilled professionals and it is always possible to get an appointment when you need it. I recommend Dr. Tabb and Bethesda Family Dentistry without hesitation.
