Dr. Villalobos is gr8. 2 members of her staff, however... I am on a fixed income & need to c where every penny goes. The male staff member "R" answered me a price. I asked him THREE TIMES "so itll cost such & such a price out the door when I come back in, right?" I was told yes. Went in several days later to pay for my glasses. First I had to wait because "R" claimed "THEY" "never saved your measurements." It was HE who took the measurements. Then, way worse, my amount due is MORE THAN DOUBLE what I was told! Then he has the bad taste to ARGUE w/me!! Very poor behavior. The woman he had draw up my receipt, "M" was unpleasant & condescending. Too, they should present patient w/an ITEMIZED bill. Not a little paper w/ONLY the amount like something from an adding machine. They should present patients w/prices for frames, lenses, extras, what insurance covers, etc. In the 3 yrs Ive gone there, NEVER is this done. They are not clear w/their warranty info either. Was misinformed. Last year I was not even given the info. As a matter of fact, Do Not Expect ANY Warranty. Better off going to Walmart. Am totally disgusted. By way, when trying to post on their Google+ page, they ONLY list 5 star reviews! I kept trying to rate them w/2 stars but it would never be accepted.

I have tried several optometrists in the McAllen/Edinburg area, but needed another opinion as I wasnt satisfied at the one of the Lasik Centers. The eye tests were truly non-invasive as nobody dilated my eyes for a nasty hour, which was all done by their digital machines. I was not expecting that from a small office. Simply the best technology and friendly staff who went the extra mile to help me on my payment. The doctor takes her time, and checks your eyes herself, unlike at other big eye center in Edinburg. I had been using the wrong prescription for a year thanks to the lack of care at the Lasik Center, and now my eyes do not strain! I dont see blurry anymore. Im so glad I found this optometrist, and I am planning on bringing my son as well. I recommend to everyone.

Beautiful facility with plenty of choices for perscription eyeglasses AND sunglasses. The staff is always curteous and helpful. Dr. Villalobos always thoroughly examines you herself. She answers any questions you may have and is really nice. Its not difficult to set up appointments and the wait time is short. Plus you get texts to remind you of your upcoming appointment. Definitely a great place.

very friendly and approachable staff, Dr. Villalobos is great with my teenagers, she has great sense of humor. Ive had to pay out of pocket at times, due to no insurance; and Ive compared prices with others place and Bella Vista beats every price every-time. they are also open after-school and after work hours. Ive moved more than 20 miles away and I still wouldnt go any where else.

Been here for many years and have been treated awesome by the staff and Dr.Villalobos goes above and beyond explain everything for you can understand and did i mention that i love the staff !!!appointment times are on point which is a plus for me would i recommend it Yes of course :) hope this helps you find a eye Dr that will treat you like family

My 10:00 AM appt was started on time. The staf were all very helpful and courteous. Dr. Villalobos was quite thorough and extremely pleasant. Eyeware selection was well handled. Total appointment time including glasses selevtion was 40 minutes!!
