**BEWARE** They broke my glasses and then wouldnt fix or replace them... When I received my glasses, they fit them and I left happy. Then over the next couple of days I noticed that the right top part of the frame where it met the lens was catching my eye brow hair and actually pulling it out. There was a very small gap between the lens and the frame. So I called to make an appointment to come back in and have them repaired or replaced, they explain it was an easy adjustment so I didnt need to make an appointment. I went in two days later and the lady behind the counter took my glasses and twisted them, compressed them or did what ever she needed to do to make the gap disappear. I tried them out and was pleased with the result. Then a few days later the frame broke, at exactly the same place the gap was at. When I tried to bring them back in to be repaired or replaced I was told that it wasnt their problem, it wasnt covered by warranty. I am on SSDA and now I only get one prescription every two years, so now I am out a pair of prescription glasses for two years thanks to Linsey Eyecare in Port Richey, through absolutely no fault of my own. BEWARE everyone!!! If you are on medicaid or just dont have the money to throw out the window, you will be screwed by this company.... Just a warning, so dont say you were never warned if you go there... I have had to take the lens out of the broken frame and ground the edges to fit into another frame that I had from a few years ago. A pair that had a weaker prescription since it has changed... I am not an eyeglass tech, so you can imagine what kind of mess I made out of each of my lens. They look like crap, I had to use superglue to hold the frame closed on the lens but it is all I have to work with now, thanks to Lensey eyecare and Obamas new health care changes... Nice seeing I only had my glasses for less than a week... **BEWARE**BEWARE**

Okay so when my child needed glasses I took them to Walmart Optical. They couldnt get a good reading on one of my test and I still had to pay full price. The next time the Doctor was very impatient and could not complete the exam on my child and made me leave 1/2 way thru and I still had to pay full price. Then I went to Visionworks and thought they were excellant. I stayed there for 3 yrs. Now I got new insurance and had to go to Linsey Eyecare. Man what a differnece! I was skeptical at 1st as I had to wait 1 1/2 weeks to have my family seen. I figured though that if they were that backed up though they must be good. So my whole family went on 2 different days (my fault I called with a space in between each to schedule visit so time was already taken - it goes quick there) OMG- I have never seen any eye doctor place like them! They were on time and quick with each visit! They answered all of my questions! They were thorough with every detail from exam, to questions, to glasses you name it! They were polite and professional! My kids were laughing the whole time thru exams from the jokes the Doctors were telling them as we seen both Linsey and her Husband. Their selection of glasses is huge! My whole family is super happy with their glasses! Every other place had to send out my childs glasses and it took 2 weeks to get them and they were thick like goggles - looked terrible. Linsey Eyecare was the 1st time ever in 8 yrs that any place had my childs glasses ready in 5 hrs and they were the thinest lenses I have ever seen and looked excellant! Their prices are competitive and yet seem super cheap for all thats included. They make you feel welcomed, important and youll leave smiling every time! They are the best around - really! Youve tried every one else what are you gonna loose by trying them too? I promise youll never go anywhere else after your 1st visit!!! =)

I would not receommend this establishment to anyone. Though the folks at the center is polite and all.. it takes forever to receive your glasses. I bought mine last year and have scratch warranty. I was told Oh just a week or two and you will have them back".. well one week has passed... two weeks has passed, so decided to call, remembering the last time when I first purchased, I waited almost a month just to find out tehy were there and they had "forgotten" to call.. now these are a cheap pair of glasses, even with my outstanding insurance plan, I still paid $300 for them. So I decided to call.. you guessed it.. it may be a month now before I get my glasses returned, still dont know if they are covered under the scratch warranty, lucky thing I have another pair of glasses otherwise I would be without for a month.. the answer when I asked how much longer, I was politely told "this is our slowest company we deal with.. may take up to a month"... I would not recommend this Company due to poor response time and the "Oh well, nothing I can do" syndrome.

I, too, am a Medicaid patient, and have been to Linsey Eyecare. I dont know exactly how long keister_68s eyebrow hair is, but every frame Ive ever had, has sat far enough away from my face that it was never an issue. Ive been coming to Linsey Eyecare since my son was in high school, and Ive never had an issue with any of the glasses Ive gotten because of them. My dog got ahold of a pair, and my Mom sat on my last pair, but the quality of work Linsey Eyecare produces is phenominal, compared to Sears and Vision Works (I will never go back to those places). I did have to wait for a long time to get in to be seen, due to my schedule, but when I did manage to get my eyes examined, the Doctor was very friendly and the staff was very prompt with their service. I paid my $2 co-pay, and I only had to wait a few days before going back and having my glasses adjusted. Unfortunately, I do have to wait 2 years for my next pair, but the glasses are virtually FREE, so Im not complaining.

Truly amazing service - I need a pair of glasses in a hurry - went in at 8:15, and they called me at 11 that same day to tell me that they had the TWO pairs I ordered ... cut & ready to go! Did I mention that I even had an eye exam, as well? No matter that the glasses were basically going to be "throw aways" while the eyes healed. -We received two pairs & the eye exam ... for the price of a single pair elsewhere! --Also got some great advice on finding & using commodity reading glasses. So SAY GOODBYE to those 7 - 14 day delays at those cut-rate Mart places. --Youll only get what you pay for? Surely having the ability to cut those rounds ON-SITE & on the same day is the future of eye-wear. THANK YOU LINSEY EYE-CARE!

I have relocated a few months and I am the type of person that if I go somewhere I always do my research as to reading the reviews, location and ratings. I can highly say that I recommend you to come to Linsey Eye Care. Dr. Brent Parson is such a great person and also a comedian. Dr. Brent paid attention to my eyes as he gave me what I had needed for a long time and that is to see better. His staff are wonderful as well.
