This place does not deserve a star. They will overcharge you and then charge your insurance more. They also lied to my insurance about the price I paid out of pocket so they could steal more money of my insurance allowance. I have the receipt, which is hand scribbled, and pictures of my insurance claims to prove it. Do not trust these people with your money, insurance, and especially your eyes. I went in for a contact eye exam for a new contact prescription only so I could order more contacts and they said i had to return for a fit and follow up even though I had been wearing contacts for the past 12 years. I also told them I do not want to order contacts through you guys, Passaro, so do not order more than the trial pair. Well they said my trial pair of contacts, with my unchanged prescription, would come in about a week maybe two. Well three and a half weeks go by and I finally get a call to come back in for the follow up. I get there and the trial pair of contacts they ordered were the cheapest pieces of crap that were so thick I had to remove them after an hour. AND they still ordered a six month supply of contacts thinking I wouldnt say anything and so they could charge me more. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE!!!

Not a good experience. I felt rushed in and out of the appointment. No real explanation other than I needed glasses. I know it was not his fault that there was not a lot of choice in glasses but I was not even offered an "upgrade" at my own expense. I ended up with glasses that were too small for my face (which I did not realize at the time, they felt ok) but later noticed that they made indents on my temples when I wore them. I was getting headaches and was not sure if it was the glasses or my prescription. No options were presented when I was ordering glasses either. The glare from lights at night had me taking them off to see better. I later went to another eye doctor and Dr Passaros prescription was wrong. He didnt even catch that I had a stigmatism. Thankfully, my new glasses, fit, have a coating on them and a prescription that took away my headaches. OH...did I mention that they said they should be in in two weeks. I called at 3 weeks, and called again and a third time, all the while they said theyd check on them and call me. They never returned the calls. Finally, when I got fed up and raised my voice about a month later they found my glasses, right there in the store the whole time. I do not recommend this office, or this doctor.

I do not like this place at all. Went 3 times and the sign said "open" but no one answers the door. Then when someone did appear the 4th time they made me yell through the door what I wanted. Seems very negative and something is not right about this place. when I did manage to catch the door open the guy was acting like he could care less and was very vague when I asked a question and that aggravated me as well. 5 trips and nothing but aggravation. Do yourself a favor and avoid this sloppy business.

Will Not Go Back. Unfortunately, they have lost any future business with my family. Very rude to my husband, tried to con him into buying glasses and saying that our insurance does not pay for it. Wait was over an hour, very disorganized and Dr. was very preoccupied; constantly leaving the room.

Rude, very nasty, unprofessional, with an attitude receptionist. Dr. Passaro is a nice guy but his prescription ended up being wrong. I recommend going elsewhere. The same nasty receptionist covers their other location in NPR also since the two locations are open on alternating days.

Both my children and myself are patients and I couldnt be more pleased with their office. He is very kind and you can definitely tell he cares about his patients and their well being. All of the staff is so friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Dr Passaros eye care.
