I had an eye and refraction exam today and got a bad first impression. Although their refraction exam was exceptionally good, the eye exam experience was dissapointing. The Digital Retinal Photography (which they advertise on their website) is one of the reasons I chose them as my eye services provider (so I wouldnt have to be dilated). When I was at their office and asked for the service, the assistant said they offer that service only if there is something wrong with the eyes. Then I expressed that my preference would be to have pictures taken rather than be dilated. He said he would talk to the doctor. When I was seen by the doctor, she asked me if I didnt want to be dilated. I said yes. By the time the exam was over, the doctor told me she could have seen more if I was dilated! Is this a joke? She was supposed to take pictures with the Digital Retinal Photography system, but that never happened. The experience was very confusing for me and I am not happy with how this was handled. I expressly asked for the Digital Retinal Photography and did not receive it. The doctor didnt seem to be aware that I wanted it.

The doctors are very nice, and professional, but the front staff is awful. Today, because I dont have insurance, and asked for a self-pay discount, I was told that I was being rude. The person at the front desk told another employee that I was "pissing her off," and also told me that she has never heard of any office offering a discount for self-pay clients. I am a doctor myself, and offer self-pay discounts. Additionally, I have enjoyed self-pay discounts at all of my other doctors offices. Its one thing if this office does not have a self-pay discount policy, but its another thing to be so rude and condescending to clients that are asking for assistance. My husband and I will not be returning to this office, because the staff does not understand the concept of professional courtesy.

I have been a long time patient at Champion Eye Center and highly recommend them to everyone. Dr. Andy and Dr. Patty have been very helpful for my eye care needs. Both the Doctors and Staff have always been very professional, warm and caring. Every year I return home from Vegas, I go to Champion Eye Center for all my eye care needs. They always have the latest styles and brands in eye wear. The staff always knows exactly what I want and what looks best on me. I would highly recommend Champion Eye Center to everyone. Great service, great people and great prices. Looking forward to my next trip when I get to see everyone again.

I was very pleased with the care I received, it had been awhile since my routine eye exam and Dr. Patty Champion and the technician Justin were very great and helpful in doing what they could to improve my eyesight. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the office and how professional it was. The front desk worked very hard to make sure I received my insurance discounts and doubled and triple checked everything for me. They were very friendly and helpful. I work in a Dental office so patient care is the first thing i notice when going to the doctor, eye doctor etc. Champion Eye Center succeeded my expectations!

Great while youre there, very nice office with friendly staff. But if you dont order your eyewear through them, they just happen to leave important pieces off of your prescription. I went in, and they wrote down my prescription without pupillary distance. Now I cant order glasses. My fiance went in a few months ago, wondered why her contacts hadnt arrived, and its because Champion never sent in the prescription, and now lost it. They have no record of her prescription, so now she has to go get another exam. Its a racket, avoid them.

Kudos to everyone at Champion Eye Center. I felt cared for by the doctors and the staff. Very professional and welcoming, always checking to see if I was OK. Loved the variety of frames and I LOVE my new glasses. Thanks for helping me find a discount (AARP) since I have no eye insurance.

If you need contacts, Dr. Patty can fit your eye perfectly. I have bifocal gas permeable contact lenses, and I can see GREAT, near and far!
