One star is generous. If I could give less than one I would. Basically I have tried to make an appointment with these people three times now. Each time, they claim they cannot get me in for anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks. So this third try I finally asked the girl what type of business model they have? I mean if you choose a PCP you choose them to be your primary care physician. It is quite clear that this practice only wants to do annual physicals and/or check ups that are scheduled months out. Ridiculous to say the least. She did not argue with me nor say, oh that is only for your first appointment or anything. So this place is worthless as far as I am concerned. They apparently have this scam where they refer you to their urgent care facility over in Jefferson or Braselton for anything that cannot wait for months for a doctor to be seen. This way they can charge you and your insurance company through the roof. Yeah, I was not impressed with their urgent care place in Jefferson either. If a Doctor or administrator or even and owner would like to call me to deny this, or perhaps to apologize for the incompetence of their employee I spoke to on this, I would be more than happy to discuss it with them. Until then, I will let every person I know locally that this is not a good choice and you are better off driving a little further where there are much better options.

I see Dr. Ellis and Ive nothing to say but wonderful things about him and his staff. He is always prompt and listens to your medical issues. Hes very good at explaining what your options are and what he believes is the best course of action for your particular problem. His staff is quick to get a referral processed and it is always easy to schedule an appointment...sometimes even on the same day.

I was very impressed by the cleanliness and thoroughness of this practice. I felt like all of my concerns were answered and I didnt even spend all day there. They even post all of your lab and pap results online for you to rreview PLUS they will mail you results... even if everything is normal. This is my new "health home"!
