This dentist had given us so many issues by cancelling our appointments (only because we didnt answer the first time they called to let us know we had an appointment. Seriously its not convenient when you call 3 times a week to remind us) and not calling us to tell us that the specialist had called in saying he was not going to be coming in. We wasted time and money driving to Kool Smiles and they didnt even seem like they cared when we told them that we spent an hour driving to that location for our appointments which had been confirmed. This was not a one time thing, not a 2 time thing, and honestly it felt like it was more than 3 times too. The "specialist" kept cancelling and the staff never called us to say that we shouldnt come in since the "specialist" wasnt going to be there. Its -2 degrees when you walk in and you wait for them to call you in, once youre there; whoever takes your teeth x-rays will scratch up your gums because they werent properly trained on taking x-rays. Finally, Im happy to say that when someone called my mom and told her that my brother had an appointment on one day (dont remember when exactly) and that my sister had one in 2 months (even though we scheduled it to be THE EXACT SAME DAY) only because the "specialist" was too busy to do her the same day; my mom went off. She told them all the issues weve had and when they gave her a "sorry the specialist is very busy" excuse, she told them to cancel all appointments and remove our names from their records (which I know they cant do) because we were no longer going to be going there. Im happy to say Woodbridge Dental took us in and does 100% better work than these "professionals" ever did. Not only that, but it turns out that they messed up my siblings root canals. My sister and brother had to have the tooth taken out because of how bad it was, and has to have a bridge put in. And even though Kool Smiles put ceramic on my teeth and claimed I would not get any more cavities, then why do I have to get a filling? Im glad we are done with this place. Sorry not sorry.

My rating is 0.0 Customer service from their staff members. I didnt go to work because I schedule a cleaning from my two children, one hour before my appointment someone from this office called me and said the dentist to see my children didnt go to work, and they had to cancel my appointments and reschedule these in about a month. I didnt cancel the appointments and a least they should consider to see my children sooner than a month. The receptionist said IF I WANT TO SCHEDULE I HAVE TO DO DIFFERENT DAYS BECAUSE THAT WAS NOT HER PROBLEM. Finally with an unprofessional respond of OK! she was agreed to schedule after three days. Unfortunately, the next time of my appoinment by three hours before these, they call me and because I couldnt answer THEY JUST RESCHEDULE AGAIN my appointments without my consent and authorization. I called and tried to speak with their manager and no ANSWERS. I talked to someone from the centralized department and she fixed my Apps. Because I couldnt take my children to the appointment and instead my sister in law took them, they refused to see them, while I was trying to talk with the supervisor over my sister in laws phone they said: "FOR WHAT?!" I spoke with the supervisor WALTER PINEDA and he didnt care about what their staff members were doing or maybe he was awared but he does not care about it! I had to rush and get out from my job and when I was there he saw me and started laugh and stated: "YOU ARE NOW LATE! SO YOUR KIDS WOULD NOT BE SEEN!" (WITH A LAUGHY TONE AND SMILING FACE). I was so devastated for all the situation and how this guy being a manager just laughs instead of solving customer issues. I felt discriminated and that they were trying to not see my kids because of my childrens insurance (Medical Assistance). I do not recommend this office because of all their staff members do not know any knowledge about customer service and their lack of scheduling.

I have never been to a dentist where it takes over 2 hours to be seen and serviced; so I didnt expect it to be this way yesterday when I visited the Kool Smiles Falls Church location. I have taken my child to the Fredericksburg location and was in and out in no time. It is nothing like that in Falls Church!!! I seriously think they overbook and they need to stop or else no one is going to return. I had an appointment for 9:45 and I arrived 15 minutes early to find that I had to fill out all the paperwork AGAIN - even though I was just transferring within Kool Smiles (from Fredericksburg to Falls Church - this upset me from the start since I had just visited the Fredericksburg location just 6 months ago. Why arent they able to link all of their locations???? Then it took almost an hour to be taken to another room where they asked me questions about why I brought my daughter to Kool Smiles. We sat in that room for a good 15 minutes. We got to the back and we sat back there for an hour. Most of the wait was for the doctor to come examine my daughters teeth and to tell me whether or not she needs any work done. I had to threaten to leave for the doctor to even come out. I had an appointment at noon and had to leave at 11:30. I barely made it to my next appointment!!! Two whole hours in a dentists office. I could have traveled to the Fredericksburg office, been seen, and come back during all that time. I dont have time to be sitting and waiting like that; plus if you are specializing in working with kids you should know better than to take so long - kids are not patient and cant sit as long as adults! Please, if someone knows of a great dentist who is good with kids, let me know.

BEWARE! TAKE YOUR INSURANCE ELSEWHERE!! If there was a spot to place negative stars Id give it. Unless youd like to be ignored and treated rudely I suggest you go elsewhere. On Friday November 11th I had an appointment with my daughter. They had me in the facility from 9am until 1pm!! No apologies. The front desk staff was rude and incompetant. I showed up for my appointment and was told to wait because there was a problem with my insurance. I inquired further and they had no information to give. I was just told to wait. An hour passed by past my appointment time. I decided to call my insurance company and they told me everything was fine, that it was a discrepancy with my last name. How hard is it to inform me of that? I went to the front desk and gave them the new info but nothing. These receptionists went to lunch and still didnt say anything. I saw more people pass and I was ignored. I inquired what was taking so long and if they were planning on seeing my daughter at all. One of the front desk receptionists gave me a blank face and said no. By that point I was angry and asked to talk to her manager. Her response: "Oh we dont have any." Utter waste of a human, no customer service whatsoever.
