I was referred to this oral surgeon from Derby Dr. Dental provider, due to extensive and multiple oral surgery needs. I arrived assuming this would all be done under anesthesia but was shocked to learn it was not , per policy, but I could be referred elsewhere if I wanted.i have had terrible dental experiences in the past, including a dental implant done incorrectly that has been causing me years of pain and procedures to correct. The oral surgeon, Dr.Kadagad, assured me she was in practice for over 10 years and performed the majority of her work successfully using only novacain. That seemed antiquated and barbaric to me, but she assured me that anxiety was reason twilight anesthesia or nitrous oxide is used. I was absolutely petrified, but she assured me I would be comfortable...and gave me option to be referred elsewhere. Typically I am someone who minimally needs a sedative like a Valium prior to ANY dental work, so attempting all that I had done was HUGE to me. Im pleased to say the doctor lived up to her word, made certain I was 100% numb, worked quickly but efficiently and performed all my oral surgery needs during that one visit. I highly recommend this surgeon for your extraction or implant needs due to her skill level. My healing is going very well, minimal swelling and bruising, she provided adequate pain medication post surgery as well. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the practice SHOULD offer sedation or anesthesia to allow ALL to feel comfortable and get their work performed by the STELLAR surgeon Dr. Kadagad at Dr. Dental.

I have been to the East Haven Dr. Dental location 3 times so far. Every time Ive gone my experience has gotten better, despite the fact that Ive had to get more serious procedures done each time. I have an anxiety disorder and the dentest had always been a trigger for me. When I first walked in I noticed immediately how clean everything was, including the kids play area. All of the staff its exceptionally knowledgeable, informative, & kind. Jimmy at the front desk is amazing!! He was very understanding and comforting in regards to my anxiety concerns, and he remembered me the 2nd time I came in. Both doctors I saw, one being the oral surgern (sorry I cant remember their names, both were women.. if that helps) were great. Both doctors explained to me what was going on as they were doing the procedures as well as asking me if I was okay or needed a break. Over all I was extremely pleased with all 3 of my experiences I have already recommended dr. Dental to my family and friends and will continue doing so.

Friendly and fantastic staff from the front desk, to assistants taking the x-rays and helping the dentist, to the dentist! I have nothing but praise for them all! Very patient and gentle with children. Ive been to pediatricians that havent been so great with kids and thats their specialty. Like I said they were patient and gentle (and so much more) but also talked to my sons and let them know what was going on and asked them how they wanted to do stuff which is huge and makes them feel important. Both of my sons left there so happy and my oldest said it was the best visit he ever had to a dentist. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! I made an appointment for myself after I saw how they were with my kids. You will not be disappointed!

Dentists, Dr. Saimi Kim and Maty, Treatment Plan Manager ROCK!!! When I first made appointment, I got in that afternoon. lol, she unlocked my jaw, lol by adjusting, WOW, Anyone who is Lucky Enough to Have Them as their Dentists, is Blessed. I cant say enough about them, but the personal time devoted to you, hearing your stories, and understanding and fix it. If i could give them 500 stars, I would and it would be an Honor, lol I was treated hospitably, with understanding, Respect no matter the insurance, professional, an amazing staff, and will Definately! go to them should I need them, and you guys too! They Rock, Kudos and thanks so Much Dr. Kim, you caused me to be out of lockjaw and pain, love ya:)

I had a great experience at this office. I was nervous because recently my husbands company went under and we had to switch our insurance to state Insurance. And unfortunately you dont always get the best care. But this facility completely proved me wrong! They were awesome with my kids! Very accommodating to my three your old who was throwing a temper tantrum while I was getting my teeth cleaned ! I have been to the dentist probably over 1000 times. I had major reconstructive surgery when I was 16 and 18 on my jaw so Im very familiar with different offices. Its a clean establishment, with a great staff, and they peovided excellent service !!!

This office is amazing. Its very clean and very nicely decorated, you can tell they put a lot of effort in making the place look nice for their patients. The staff is very nice and helpful!! They have the sweetest receptionist Angela shes is very sweet!! Most important the dentist is very nice and very patient with my children and myself. They have a nice play area for the kids with Xbox and a play gym, the T.V is always set for the kids!! My kids were afraid of the dentist and never wanted to go until I found Dr. Dental, now they remind me of their appointments. I would highly recommend this dentist to all my family, friends, and neighbors!!

I have nothing to say but wonderful things... My dentist office was closed today and I knew I had symptoms of an infection so I called and the office was so accommodating. I was able to come right in (I had to bring my 1yr old along with no notice to find a babysitter) and my son was crying and making a fuss. The staff calmed him and helped out while I was had my x-ray and exam and was prescribed an antibiotic and given options to save my tooth. I have been going to my dentist 5 years and I can say I will be changing offices after this visit. Also, the waiting room and exam rooms were immaculate!

I had a very bad experience 12 years ago with a dentist, and vowed to never go to one again. Once I couldnt stand the pain anymore I knew I had to face my fear. From the minute I walked in, the staff made me feel at home. My first exam went well, and as I figured, Id need to come back for work. When that day came, again I was so nervous and the staff once again made me comfortable. The dentist himself took extra care and made sure I wouldnt feel anything. I still have to go back, but at least Ill be less nervous. Ive already recommended you to friends and family. Thank you!

Absolutely the best dental office I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and very patient. They take the time to listen to your needs and do their best to accommodate you. Dr Kim is wonderful! She take the time to go over my treatment plan with me and takes my thoughts and opinions into consideration. Angela the front desk administrator is amazing! She is very friendly, always has a smile on her face and makes me feel welcome. When I come into the office is like visiting extended family and they all make you feel very welcome. Thank you to all the staff of Dr. Dental.
