Unfortunately, Dr. Richardson has lost our family as clients. I received no reply to my email or to my request of the receptionist to have Dr. Richardson call me, so it’s a bit ironic that their office sent me an email requesting public feedback on their Yahoo account! My two children had 8:00 am appts. The day before their appt, I got a message at 4:15 pm (outside of a confirmation email sent to me shortly after making the apt, I received no other emails, texts, calls regarding this appt) telling me that if I didnt call them back by 5:00 they would cancel because the hygienist didnt want to get daycare. Then they called a left me another message at 5 and cancelled the appts. I didn’t see the phone message until 5:15 and tried to call but received the answering service. When I spoke to them they made it clear "that was their policy because 99/100 people "no show" if they dont reach them”. I have never in my life been given a 45 minute window to confirm an appt., let alone having it cancelled, but no one was apologetic. In fact, they were adamant that I was to blame for not confirming the appt. I should add that I am a medical practitioner myself and understand the frustration of have patients “no show”. I don’t get paid when my patient doesn’t show up. I’m also a working mom with a 10 and7 year old. I also know the hassles of childcare very well. We were loyal clients who never missed an appt. Having said all that, I still cannot fathom cancelling a scheduled appt. (with only 45 minutes to return a phone call) because there is a chance of a “no show”. I guess the only way to guarantee someone won’t “no show” is to go ahead and be proactive and cancel them first!!

In my opinion Dr. Richardson is a fine dentist however the two front receptionists are very cunning and your typical high school "mean girls". They were decent at the first two visits but their incompetency begin to show shortly. The two are less than competent and typically cover each others mistakes. The heavier set one is loud, talk over you and frazzle easily when you ask questions that require some brain cells. The skinny one is rude and with an attitude that "she is all that". When confronted with their mistakes and if you asked to speak with the dentist, they will tell you to leave now or they will call 911; they will tell you that the dentist will not speak with you because they are doing their job. Funny thing is that how often you would ask to see the dentist if the front office doesnt screw up. Luck on my side, the dentist came out to the front and I told him what transpired. He was put at a hard spot but I am sure he didnt like that his receptionist is telling the patient to find another dentist. The two receptionists was tooting their horn that they get 30 new patients a month but the real question is how many are they able to retain.

I had a horrible dental experience prior to going to Dr. Richardson that made me a "white-knuckler" when I found him a few years ago. He was conveniently located near my work, and after speaking to the extremely kind and helpful receptionists (Annie and Melinda now), I knew that Id have a great experience based on that first interaction. The entire team is a family, and has become one to me over the time I have been treated by Dr. Richardson. They have taken time to get to know me personally and always do a wonderful job whether Im there for a cleaning, filling or root canal. Ive always got something going on with my mouth, but I know that Dr. Richardson and the team will take care of me with no pain! Id also like to note for anyone that may be reading that may have special medical conditions that Dr. Richardson and the staff are considerate to those needs, as well. Just be sure to mention them, and you will be well taken care of! Im a white-knuckler no more, thanks to Dr. Richardson, Wendy, Kris, Joyce and the entire team!

I switched to Dr. Richardson’s office about 2 years ago. After one visit, with their updated technology; he was able to see that a couple fillings that I had put in when I was a kid were eroding both teeth. I was completely surprised by this and said "How great is this?" Now, dont get me wrong, I dislike going to the dentist just as much as the next person, but he was able to prevent what could have been very painful toothaches. Today, I nervously went in to get that procedure done. He and Wendy were AMAZING!! It has always been very hard for any dentist to me to get numb and requires A LOT of Novocain. After quite a few shots, he didnt even blink, he and Wendy both wanted me to be comfortable and completely numbed me up - which is hard to do!!! I know my kids LOVE the staff and it makes going to the dentist a much more pleasurable experience! I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Richardson to all my family and friends. THANK YOU!!!

Today was the Best day!! as Dr Richardson and his incredible beautiful staff have taken away years of fear of having dental work done. I had to have dental work done today and had so much fear from years of bad dentists that when I laid in his chair to start the procedure I started to cry and lots of anxiety hit me, Dr Richardson and Wendy comforted me and when Dr Richardson started the injections not only did I not feel it I gave Wendy back the stress ball she gave me to hang on to. Dr Richardson is the best!! The procedure went by so fast, no pain and no discomfort afterwards. I am so thrilled and grateful to have found Dr Richardson!! All the Ladies in the office are so beautiful and kind and I thank you for being you!! I so look forward to all my dental work now!! I feel so free from years of fear...Thank you Thank you Thank you... Dr Richardson and Staff!! like the song goes...Your simply the BEST!!!

I am so thrilled to have found Dr Richardson and staff!! to know my story I had something seriously wrong going on with my bones and gums in my mouth, I searched the internet for a dentist close by my home, the ratings and reviews made my choice to visit Kirkland Dentistry which they got me in immediately, the ladys at the front desk made me feel so welcomed, event thru my tears they made me laugh and smile, when I met Dr Richardson he was just as nice and he knew what was wrong right away and referred me to an oral surgeon who was so informative that he put all fears aside. Now with my care that is in Dr Richardsons hands I look forward to every 6 months to see him and the ladys at the office!! I am a lady who has a fear of dentist those fears are now gone. Thank you so much to Dr Richardson and staff for being you and truly caring about your patients!! Your the Best!!!!

I just had my first visit with Dr. Richardson and his team. It went so smoothly! Making an appointment was easy, the receptionists were friendly and helpful. When I arrived at the office, there was no wait time, I went right back to the chair to begin my visit. The dental assistant, Wendy, was wonderful and easy to talk to. She took my x-rays, and we chatted easily as she worked efficiently. Dr. Richardson came back a few minutes after I arrived, and he was incredibly friendly and kind to me as he did his oral exam. The dental hygienist, Chris, was next to do my cleaning. She was sweet and did a great job cleaning my teeth and making sure I was comfortable while she worked. Checking out was easy and quick. I left with a smile on my face and an appointment scheduled for next time!
