My G.P. recommended I see a gyn for my chronic vaginal infections that hadnt yet been completely eliminated by past antifungal and antibiotic treatments. I arrived at 8:43 for my 9:15 appointment, and I wasn’t seen until 11:35. While I waited, I could hear every personal detail being discussed in the exam room next door, so right off I felt like I had no privacy. The nurse had me undress before the doctor even took my history. When the doctor finally came, she walked in with a confusingly argumentative and angry attitude. While I sat naked on the table, covered by tissue paper, she shouted angry questions about my symptoms and previous treatments. I tried answering all of her questions, but her shouting and angry demeanor was very jarring. It seemed like a psychotic one-sided argument, about some point that I wasn’t even trying to contend regarding the type of infection. I finally said “What does it matter whether it’s bacterial or fungal? Whatever it is, I just want to get it treated.” Then, before even examining me, she seemed to start on some bizarre agenda to prove that my symptoms weren’t caused by an infection at all and that she probably wasn’t going to be able to help me. She seemed hell bent on finding some lifestyle choice to blame my symptoms on, and started coming up with weird explanations like it being some weird form of eczema caused by me drinking coffee. She was inexplicably skeptical that my husband catches it from me. She also told me that I need to be regularly cleaning my vagina with a turkey baster, and the fact that I am not already doing so is probably what lead to the symptoms. She asked me to describe my initial symptoms and I mentioned that it had started with urinary incontinence. In response, she incredulously shouted “YOU GO PEE-PEE ALL OVER YOURSELF!?” in this room with paper thin walls. I also mentioned that I had recently inserted a finger into my vagina, and it had come out with discolored discharge. In response, she demanded to know, in an angry and disgusted tone, why I had inserted a finger. I said that I was supposed to check my IUD placement once a month. She proceeded to absolutely berate me for sticking my own finger in my own vagina, and proclaimed that it was what had caused my symptoms. She repeatedly said that I don’t have to stick my finger in there “all the time” and “so much”, when I never said I do it more than once a month. Completely unprofessional. When I mentioned that I wanted to get the IUD removed, because I was interested in having children but that I couldnt have sex until this infection was cured, she insisted that I should go ahead and have sex with my husband despite the symptoms. I told her that my husband catches it if we have sex plus sex was not bearable due to the symptoms and that the symptoms cause me a constant burning sensation. She very insensitively told me that I’ll need to see an infertility specialist to have my husband’s sperm placed in me without sex then, and that she couldn’t help me. When it came time for the exam, her nurse entered and exited the exam room several times, while I was naked, spread-eagle on the table, facing the door. The first time it happened, I frantically jumped, and tried to cover myself with the tissue paper, and the doctor yelled at me because I was “going to hurt myself” since the speculum was in me. After removing my IUD, she warned me to "be very careful" because Im "very fertile now" and might accidentally conceive, again being heart-breakingly insensitive towards my repeated explanation that my symptoms have prevented sexual intimacy with my husband for several months. She referred me to an imaging center because she said she felt an abnormality in my breast, then when I was at the desk paying for my appointment, she mentioned my breast loudly, with no regards for my privacy. She was so unbelievably demeaning and dismissive that for the next three days, memories of the appointment would come into my head, causing me to cry with no apparent provocation.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE DONT GO..................................................................... So I called today, the girl that answered the phone was so rude and hung up on me as I was asking her the price of the initial visit for my pregnancy. I called again and another lady answered she gave me the prices. I told her I had a check up a few months ago with the same doctor she checks and says I owe $115.00, I was like for what I paid my co-pay, and you billing never called me to let me know anything they are really unorganized and unprofessional. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR ALL THEY WANT IS money money money they dont care if you have insurance. They could have at least called me. I had to find out like this with one of them hanging up on me was really upsetting.

She has been my doctor since 2008! She has birthed two of my kids and now a third child(soon)!! She is so caring!!! I love her!! Lol.. but seriously she will go above and beyond for you to understand what may be going on and she will answer any questions you may have. The office staff is also a blessing! They are super friendly and caring as well. I have referred my sis in law (Dr. Huynh birthed 3 of her kids) my cousin (Dr. Huynh birthed 1 child) and my sister (Dr. Huynh birthed 2 of her kids)!! Its a family affair! Thank you Dr. Huynh for being an awesome doctor!

I have been comin to Dr.Huynhs office for years. She delivered 2 of my babies. I had gone to other obgyns but none were on point like her. She is sweet n is very concerned with your well being. She took the time to answer all my questions. Her staff have been there for years, and also very helpful. I wont go anywhere else and recomennd her to all of my friends.
