As a mom you always want to do the best for you family. I had recently taken my 5 year old to a popular dentist that we had been to before. But our last visit was terrifying for both me and my husband. In the end, our daughter needed some extensive oral surgery. But the flippant method the intern dentist told us, had my husband and I confused, scared, and upset. We left and found the most wonderful experience at Windcrest Pediatric dentistry. From the first call to make the appointment to the actual surgery, I felt that my daughter was their top priority. The waiting room is more like a toy store with iPads and video games to keep your little ones preoccupied. I watched as children came bouncing into the dentist office with smiles on their faces. First we meet Ms. Alice who is out of this world. She is cheerful, patient, and caring. The dentist, Dr. Awagu is excellent at his job and a very good man. I could feel he cared about my daughter, and really that is all I could ask for. Watching him work on my daughter with his awesome assistant made me feel good as a parent knowing I was getting the best treatment and care for my little girl. I highly recommend Windcrest Pediatric Dentistry to any and all parents looking for the best care and experienced dentist and staff in San Antonio. Not only did they make my daughter feel great, but mom and dad felt great too.

After suffering through a traumatic experience with the last dentist my boys visited, I was a nervous wreck about trying out a new place. After reading reviews, I went with my gut instinct and made an appointment. It has to be the best decision ive ever made for my boys. From the moment you walk in,the decor, the colors, and the setup make it easier to invite the kids in. The cleanliness of the waiting room, the restrooms, and the back area are A+. The staff are very welcoming, very sweet, very knowledgeable, and most importantly (in my opinion) are very upbeat and leave the lasting impression that they love what they do. The doctor is compatible with his staff. Hes very warm, very welcoming, very calm and collected. He made my sons procedure seem like a stroll in the park and completely had me at ease. I really appreciated that he made my sons health legitimately important and not about cashing out. Words cant describe how happy I was to see the doc and his staff take into consideration my sons last bad experience and took extra precautions to keep hin relaxed and comfortable. They have really cool gadgets that make it fun and less stressful for the kids while they wait. Im beyond happy to have found this place and its an honor to call Dr.Awagu my childrens dentist.

My name is Audralyn Cozart-GilmerThe most amazing experience ever for both of my girls Rayne and Raedyn. I have a daughter with high functioning aspergers as well as PTSD along with her sister who has PTSD. Dr. Awagu actually took the time to find out why and completely made me feel at ease with his knowledge and approach with my girls. He and his staff were very patient and friendly to make their experience comfortable. The most important thing to me is that the staff is amazing and always smiling and willing to help at the drop of a hat. I love that parents are actually educated by Dr. Awagu during your childs visit. This helps to know what is actually going on with your child. Not to mention my Daughter wants to go in and say hello every time we drive by...and even then we are welcome and Dr. Awagu takes the time to actually see my girls...now you tell me...when a 5 & 6 year old beg their Mother to go visit their Dentist and the Dentist takes time during his busy day to actually see them just to say hello....He actually cares about the kids and has changed the entire experience for children going to the Dentist. He has made it fun, educational, and memorable. We LOVE Windcrest Pediatric Dentistry!!!

My name is Amber Pesqueda, both of my children have been going here since they turned 6 months old. My daughter loves going to see "her dentist". As we pass by the office my daughter yells "mommy my dentist, look at the hippo". Both of my kids enjoy the new changes made to the office, especially the colorful bubbles! Everyone at Windcrest Pediatric Dentistry is extremely friendly and polite. They are also great with the children. When the ladies told me that Dr. Awagu would be the new doctor seeing my children, I hesitated. Yet, I decided to give him a chance. As I was updating my childrens files my father took my children to the back to get their teeth checked. When they finished he walked them to the front to check out, he took it upon himself to introduce himself to me. I was very impressed and I had never seen a doctor do that before. On my childrens last visit he also let my daughter Alisa help brush her brother Raymonds teeth. Although he cried she had a blast. Dr. Awagu is the BEST kids dentist I have ever seen and knows how to get the kids to smile and keep them calm! Thank you Windcrest Pediatric Dentistry for letting my kids have a great experience every time they visit!

I was referred by Google reviews, everything positive that is written is true. Ive worked in doctors offices all my career this group has To be one of the most efficient. My childrens anxieties were sky high since it was our first visit. we received the most welcoming greeting it was like we were walking into familys house. There were games to play, blocks to build with iPads & xboxes, they watch Spongebob while they got their teeth cleaned. my children are looking forward to coming back to in 6 months and so am I. I was treated with so much respect and so were my children. The best part is (even though i knew it) each person took the time to EDUCATE us. Dr. Awagu has an amazing beside manner, hes kind and doesnt rush. He takes time w his patients. There was a child who wouldnt open for his exam. Dr. Awagu just calmly "counted teeth" from 1 to 8 seconds... then no sooner than I realized the Dr. Awagu was full in doing an exam! We found our teeth team, finally! ! Fantastic job ladies and gentlemen. My kids said they dont want to disappoint anyone. So healthier smile next visit! ***Highly recommended***

I was very very happy with Windcrest Pediatrics. My daughters first appointment ever was with Dr. Flores. Our second appointment was with Dr. Aswagu. The entire inside of the office has transformed throughout our years of visits! There are more activities in the waiting areas for the children and the areas are always clean and neat looking. Also Dr. Aswagu was concerned about some pre-cavities and scheduled a three month check up in between the six month checkups as a comp appointment just to closely monitor the precavities. He also recommended a product called "Spiffies" that helped to keep the precavities from progressing! The entire staff is very friendly and my daughter looks forward to going to the dentist! I also am excited that if my child needs any kind of oral surgery or braces, Dr. Aswagu is a one stop shop and he does all of those services in house! I highly recommend Windcrest Pediatrics.
