This was the Worst customer service I ever had to deal with at what is Supposed to be a professional business. I was told by the rude lady up front, Sandy that my insurance was in network with them and that I was covered with only a $50 deductible. Long behold 2 weeks later I get a bill stating I owe $565. I call the insurance company and am told I was Not in network with my provider and that was why the big bill. So I call Dr. Molendas office and speak w/Sandy of course.. who rudely told me there was nothing I can do about my bill now and claimed she told me I was out of network. When I politely told her she actually stated that my insurance was In network the day I was getting my teeth done and that I was covered she told me, "Well you have No proof. So there is nothing you can do about it." I then asked her to have Dr. Molenda call me back while she rudely talked over me telling me this was my fault and that I was going to just have to pay the bill. So I never heard back from the office and decided to call a few days later.. Dr. Molenda actually got on the phone and said there was a misunderstanding between Sandy and I and that I was never told I was in network even though he was standing in the same room when she told me. I then brought up how she previously treated me on the phone and how unprofessional that was and he just defended her to the very end. He said she did nothing wrong and when I asked him, "So your okay with your patients being treated this way?" He yet again defended her and said, "Yes, everything she did was correct." I couldnt believe it. I of course cancelled my next apt and immediately stopped referring friends and family to this office. I dont ever write complaints because I generally dont have the time but I Had to let people know this is Not a very pleasant place and the patients are Never right here. I have worked in the medical field for over 5yrs now and I know patients are important and should be treated that way.

I dont have dental insurance, and I needed to get my right tooth fixed for my wedding photos. I went to go see Dr. Molenda to get a filling along the gum line, and I was so happy with the quality of work!! They were able to set up an emergency appointment for me the very next day, and Dr. Molenda was awesome! His quality of work is amazing, and he was very gentle with my teeth and gums. My tooth looks so good and I couldnt be happier with his work! It actually looks better and whiter than my other teeth, and it only took him about 45 minutes to repair and was reasonably priced! Anyone who is looking for a good dentist who cares about his patients, wont rip you off, and does an incredible job.... you want to go HERE!!!

Dr. Larry Molenda in San Marcos, Texas, has been my dentist for about 15 years. He is probably the most gentle dentist Ive had in my sixty-five years. He is thorough in his examinations and treatment as required, yet he practices conservative dentistry. He is cordial and kind, a man of faith. When you are in his chair you sense a quiet knowledge and know you can trust his experience and judgement. Dr. Molendas staff have always been professional, skilled, and knowledgeable. His office suite is immaculate and located so that from his treatment suites you can observe a variety of hill country birds and small critter wildlife.

I recently came back to Dr Mo. After having a horrible experience w another dentist. Dr Mo fixed other dentist bad fitting crown. He even placed another permanent crown in just a few short minutes after removing the temporary one. He has some fabulous lab guys that make these crowns cuz he didnt have to do ANY drilling or modifications to make it fit perfectly. Other dentist drilled and scraped 70 minutes to place crown,and still not right. Dr MO and his daughter assistant are compassionate, efficient and do fabulous work. I highly recommend him. I will continue to use Dr MO in the future.

I went to Dr. Molendas today and I must say the reviews and ratings are VERY TRUE!!! He got me in on the exact time I schedule my appoint and had me out within 30 to 45 mins tops. Dr. Molendas explains on what he is going to do and how long it will take before he begins and I must say, he is a PROFESSIONAL, and he work shows it!!!
