I give Familia dental zero stars! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone needing braces. I started going there 2 yrs ago. My daughter needed braces so we took her in and made a payment plan of $180 a month. Not bad I thought. For a year we made every appointment and every payment on time. Everything seemed good until it was time to make our last $180 payment. We went in for her appointment and was told the brackets were placed wrong so they would have to take them off and start over!!! They brought me a new payment plan paper to sign stating we now would owe $345 a month if we wanted them to do anything else to her teeth???!!! So of course I told them no. Its not our fault they placed the brackets wrong and they have to fix the mistake. So then they came back and told us it was because she missed an appointment, thats a lie and I told them that. I have proof of every day she missed of school and appointment cards, I even have bank statement and notes from them excusing her from school. They said that if I wanted them to continue her treatment I would have to pay again!! So they gave me a number to call corporate. So I called and told them everything. They said they would call me back in 48 hrs. Never got a call. I call back, they say It never got filed. So I file another complaint and now they say they will call me back in 48 hrs. Im sure I will never get a call. So now my daughter has braces on with no bands and her teeth are going back to how they were with every day that goes by. So im stuck paying for her braces twice! Its wrong but if I want my daughters teeth fixed I have to come up with another $ 1400. Why? Because familia dental is money hungry and doesnt care about your kids teeth. They will let you pay until the last payment is due then they raise the price by a couple THOUSAND. I dont have that kind of money to spend so it put me in a bind. I hope you read this and save yourself the time, money, and headache they have cost me. Familia dental is the worse place to take your kids for braces!!

I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. The only reason I attempted to go was because she was open on a Saturday. Let me list the reasons why... 1. My appointment was to receive a cleaning. She refused to give me my cleaning until I had other procedures done...She quoted me over a $1000 worth of things she wanted me to have done. 2. She spent the entire time I was in her office talking in circles. She is impossible to communicate with....she does not know how to listen. She spent 10 mins trying to tell me that I need to do a root canal on a tooth that had a filling because she didnt like how close the filling was to the root. THAT TOOTH HAS BEEN GREAT SINCE HAVING IT DONE. 3. She did not tell me I had an infection, her assistant did when he was explaining that I need to continue the medication until I can have a root canal done on a tooth that I WILL BE GOING TO MY DENTIST THAT LIVES OVER AN HOUR AWAY TO HAVE HIM DO A FILLING- but am unable to get down there for a few weeks. I requested an extension on the antibiotic but she refused. She is not a dentist of any real value except that she was open on Saturday.... Which after visiting her I can see why she has to be open on Saturdays....no one with any self-respect would continue to be treated by a woman so obviously un -qualified. Just because a person has a piece of paper does not make them good at what they do...Nothing about my visit or the fact that she refused me antibiotic WHEN I HAVE AN INFECTION says good dentist.

My guess is most of the people rating are actually employees.. This place is horrible! The receptionist was nice & there were multiple girls in the front area, it was clean and looked great. I waited 15 minutes up front, not bad. Then a girl whom made it seem like she was a technician came in and told me they were waiting on my insurance but not even 2 mins later came by and said the doctor was finishing up and would be in at any minute. 45 minutes go by and he walks in and asks if anyone has done X-rays. I say no. 15 minutes later a polite but not so very good X-ray tech comes in and does my X-rays. She had to redo them 3 times over the whole visit. Doctor came in an hour later, and did a complete exam, cleaning, & flouride treatment, & floss in 15 minutes. I KNOW from multiple experiences before a thorough dentist takes minimum 30-45 minutes. I went to the front & got an estimate for my filling he wanted me to come back for and went some where else. Total time spent in that office was 2 hours and 23 minutes! Never again for poor customer service, & poor dental care. I KNOW they charged my insurance, my teeth didnt even feel clean after leaving. Go elsewhere! Save yourself the trouble. I would have given no stars if it was possible!

We have been to this dentist for the past year, after countles hours in the waiting room, rude, incompetent staff, I have finally reached the end. Daughter has a cleaning due before braces, explained this when I made the appt. After I show up I am then informed that since her cleaning isnt due until the 27th of DEC my insurance wont cover it, Could this have been explained when I made the appt? I declined to have the cleaning done, Why would I pay cash when I have insurance to cover the cost? Complete miscommunication, the staff is ridiculous, they have no knowledge or understanding of good customer service. I will NEVER be back. Save yourself the trounble, find a dentist with up to date equipment, decent staff and good communication skills. If you like waiting for hours to be seen, late night reminder calls, rude staff, and incompetent receptionists, then this is the place for you!

I have received nothing but poor service from this company. Between the carelessness of their doctors, miscommunication from their main headquarters to their branches, and poor customer service in their offices - I will no longer go to this place of "business" nor recommend it to anyone I know. I have only been a customer of this company since December 2012 and during this short period of time, it has been nothing but bad experiences.

The first visit I had was actually a second opinion from my ex dental office. Even though I had insurance that was covered at the former office Familia Dental won me over. I have been to many dentist and I have never felt more comfortable than I do at Familia Dental. The staff is super sweet and my dentist is gentle, patient and answers all of my questions. I have recommended Familia Dental to everyone I know.

This is the second time I have been to the Clinic and in both opportunities have had great service from the staff at the front desk and the doctors and assistants in the back. Theyll treat you with the same respect whether you are covered by insurance or not. They also have been my kids Dentists for about 3 yrs and feel very satisfied with the way they have kept my childrens oral health.
