If you want to be treated by doctors who actually care for their patients, just skip this place. Im not sure what kind of person goes into the medical field without the intention of helping people but this whole office, from the front desk to the doctors themselves, is staffed by people who only care about money. Theyll make you schedule appointments just to tell you that youre fine, which takes about five minutes, and charge you their entire appointment fee. This is something Ive never experienced with any past doctors, who have always just mailed me healthy test results. I guess you cant make money without sharing patients to come in though. Rock Run still sends you a letter when test results come back fine, but instead of just saying that, you get a letter that says you need to come in as soon as possible. We temporarily lost insurance, making doctors visits a little difficult. My wifes medication was also due for a renewal at this time. She works in a field with a similar code of ethics and understand the important of helping her patients. When she called to have her prescription renewed, at least long enough to cover jet until we had insurance again, she was told she needed to come in for a doctors visit. A visit that would literally just be saying the medication is working great and would take five minutes but would once again cost the full appointment fee. When we brought it to their attention that were couldnt afford both the visit and the (much cheaper) pills at the moment and that just stopping the medication could be life threatening, they didnt care at all. When my wife brought up that in her field they cant refuse service, especially service that could help save their life, just because payment was an issue, they replied coldly with "well, wet can." These are only a couple of examples. This doesnt even go into the examples of the doctors just throwing darts at a board trying to figure out whats wrong or the extremely rude comments everyone on the staff tends to make. The people in this office are just plain unhelpful and its disgusting to think we ever trusted them. In the end I just cant advise people to avoid this place enough. Theyre all just a bunch of greedy, unknowledgeable, opportunistic people. Just do not go here.

Wish I could give them zero stars. My wife slipped on some ice at the end of January. Rock Run is around the corner from us, so we went straight there. The moral is, never go to a medical facility located in a petrol station. After they got all our financial information (got to get the important stuff in first!), they X-rayed my wifes hand. We pointed out that my wife is a Worship Leader, and needs to be able to play Guitar. Dr. Peterson looked at the X-ray (she had difficulty even moving around the image on the computer...). She declared that it wasnt broken, and to splint it for three weeks. My wife and I looked at the same X-ray, and said "yes, thats broken". The only concession from the doctor was to get a radiologist to read the XRay. We went home with a splint. No painkillers, because "it wasnt broken" My wife was unable to sleep that night because of the pain. We called first thing, and nobody answered the phone. We left a message saying that we needed to get a prescription. Three hours later, with no return call, my wife called again to request painkillers. The receptionist was very obstructive, and said that shed have to make an appointment (yes, at $$ cost to us); even though we had been in less than 18 hours before. She eventually deigned to "ask the doctor". Another two hours went before she rang back, and said that the radiologist had confirmed that it was broken (were we ever going to find this out? Well never know), and the doctor said that she could have some pain meds. We declined, as wed had enough of the place and had already placed an appointment with our normal doctor. Over 24 hours since the injury, and no pain medication apart from over-the-counter stuff we have at home; this is intolerable in so many ways. As an addendum; we went to our normal doctor. He immediately saw that it was broken. He prescribed painkillers, a better splint, and made an appointment for her to see a specialist hand-doctor. Within two days she was operated on, and needed two pins in her finger to stabilize the break. The difference between this place and our normal doctor regarding professionalism and medical ability is immense. We wont be bothering with this place ever again.

My husband went to see Dr Peterson for an evening appointment, was given a prescription that needed prior approval from my insurance but Dr Peterson failed to tell us that may happen. After learning this from the Pharmacy, we then contacted Dr Petersons office. We were told they would get right on the approval process. The next morning I called the office to see what had been done. Was told they were too busy and would get to it as soon as they could. I then called again and was told they still had not gotten to it. I called my insurance company myself, two times in the business time of the day and was able to reach a real person each time I called but was told by them they were waiting on the on the paper work from the the doctors office and that I could not do the approval process myself. I called the doctor office again two more time and was told again that they were very busy and would get to it as soon as possible. This medication was for pain, so now 24 hours have gone by and still no process from the doctors office. I will never go back to the Rock Run in Roy Utah again.

Rock Run doctors nearly killed me by prescribing a medication that is known to interact with other medications I was taking at the time. I took the medication one time, two hours later I had a seizure and heart block. I now have a pacemaker with the top half of my heart depending 100% on the pacemaker. When I went to the ER I also learned that I am in stage II renal failure due to being overdosed on diabetes medications. I was never advised nor were there any blood tests taken to review my kidney status by my doctor and now I live with ever failing kidneys due to physician neglect. Please be careful when using these doctors. There were plenty of red flags, but I ignored them because I liked my doctor, but now I am permanently damaged by their neglect and malpractice and have no recourse for damages. Love the doctors but not the office management. Ive been trying to be seen and had a balance that went into collection that I was not aware of. The office manager did not know how once a debt is in collection the amount paid will longer go back into the office. When I was able to talk to the office manager she was rude and unprofessional. I have no problem making payments but Ive never gotten a call back and when I contact the own billing department they tell me its fine to be seen because they wont deny someone needing to be seen. Its been a nightmare and dont know when itll ever get better or if Ill be ever be able to be seen there again. Its fine if you want to go to that clinic just be very careful when it comes to the billing procedure.
