after deciding to have dental implants I contacted Comal dental.Dr David Earnest DDS. He covered the entire procedure for me. He put me at ease from the beginning.His staff is also amazing.I can be picky, but like all of them.Insurance is filed and fully explained,as is cost. The night before implant surgery,Dr Earnest called to check on me,wow that is worth so much to someone that cares for his patient. Day of,had bottom teeth pulled and 6 implants put in. I FELT NO PAIN,and i have dental anxiety.Very gentle with shots, stopped if I ask,very kind to me during the process.I got home and he called to make sure I was okay,called 2 hours later, and again at 8;00 pm to make sure all was well.If you think all dentists are this caring,think again.usually staff calls. I took two pain pills,then ibuprofen took care of the pain. I opted for a non removable denture.It is amazing to know I can enjoy the freedom of having permanent teeth. Dr Earnest is amazing, I would suggest him to everyone for implants.We are going to do 4 on upper next. I feel no fear at all. Amazing how gentle he is. Do call Comal dental for a consult, you will be very pleased.I am very happy I called them.This is a procedure you have to have done correctly. He knows what he is doing.

I travel so minor emergencies are no fun. Not being able to get home I had to find a dentist while here. They were very kind, helpful, efficient and affordable. I was able to get in same day to get antibiotics and I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed the next week. I am terrified to go to the dentist and they were very kind to me. Dr.Earnest took time before my procedure asking me exactly what my concerns were. Mine are needles and the pain and crunching that seem to be normal for that. Well he took very good care that my concerns never happened in his hands. He was very gentle. The staff from when you walk into the front door to the back were very friendly and welcoming. You do not feel like a number but a person. He is available for you afterwards also. I had a couple minor concerns that evening that I did not feel that I needed to call about. I was looking stuff up online when my phone rang and it was Dr.Earnest calling to check on me. WOW! I was able to ask a couple questions and my mind put at ease quickly. I would give more stars for this place if I could. I am glad this is the place I chose and I highly recommend them. Thank you all at Comal Dental for being so good to me!

I was referred to Dr. David Earnest by a friend to help me with a cracked molar. He worked me into the schedule to address my painful gum and when I got to his office I was happy to find a comfortable office and a friendly professional staff. When Dr Earnest came in to examine me he was very friendly and we ended up talking about mountain biking and fly fishing for a while. He was able to show me instantly what was wrong with my tooth on a giant monitor and it was easy to see my tooth was damaged beyond repair so he worked me into the schedule that same day to extract the tooth and do a bone graft to prepare for an implant. After the graft heals I will be back into his office for my implant. I went into his office with pain and swelling and walked out an hour later relieved. Dr. Earnest even called me personally that evening to make sure I was doing ok after the procedure. I had absolutely no pain and his staff was very professional. I would and have recommended Dr. Earnest to my friends and family for their dental maintenance. The 20 minute drive to New Braunfels is worth the professionalism and pain free dental help I got.

The staff is very friendly and professional. I actually enjoy my visits and look forward to coming in for a cleaning. I like how everyone is laid back but yet professional at the same time. I appreciate how the hygienist talked to me about how I can better keep a flossing schedule by giving ideas instead of just insisting that I do it more often. Usually, I would have just straight up not told the truth about my dental hygiene at home but here I dont feel like they are going to lecture me on it. The waiting room is very clean and the staff out there are very friendly and helpful when it comes to setting up appointments or changing schedules. I really appreciate the dentist, who remembers my back story each time I come in.

My wife and 2 children visited Comal Dental and were 110% satisfied with our visit. The reception staff were very friendly and kind and made us feel comfortable right away. The facilities were the nicest and most modern I have seen. The dentists assistant was not only very professional and capable but warm and friendly and we had a very pleasant and meaningful conversation. Our dentist, Dr. David Ernest, was excellent, very gentle, he explained each procedure and our overall dental situation in detail. I am very happy with the dental work he performed. I greatly enjoyed my conversation with him and I would recommend him to anyone who would like a first class dental care experience.

Dr. Ernest & his friendly, professional staff at Comal Dental have taken excellent care of me since I became his patient last year. Under somewhat emergency conditions at the time, they got me in the office quickly and Dr. Ernest began a treatment program immediately. Not having been to the dentist for way too many years, Im proud to now refer "My Dentist" to family and friends. Nervous, perhaps fearful (as I was!) patients will be put at ease by the care they receive, from the waiting room to the chair to the outbound desk, at this modern facility. I look forward to "routine" dental check-ups in future. Make an appointment, and make Comal Dental and Dr. Ernest "your dentist!"

Great experience. Even though Dr. Earnest has a busy schedule, they nottified me of a cancellation form another patient and got me in quick. It started with a warm greeting from the staff when I arrived and then Kim, the hygenist, was especially delightful as she had her hands full with an overdue cleaning on my part. Once that was complete, Dr. Earnest gave me the look over and his chairside manner topped off the entire experience. They also had a very affordable "new patient" program and I will be coming back. I recommend Comal Dental with utmost confidence.

Do you fear the Dentist like I have all my life? Did you have a bad past experience with a Dentist? There was much anxiety before my appointment with this new Dr. but now I am very relieved to say that Dr. Earnst is fantastic. He was very compassionate about my fears and has been very kind and "almost" painless. He has a wonderful staff and I am happy to recommend him! Thank you, Dr. Earnst and tell your staff they deserve a pat on the back for their professionalism and caring natures.

Best experience ever! Having just moved to New Braunfels(less than 2 weeks), I found myself with an emergency-one my my crowns came out. They were so helpful in determining insurance coverage. I was seen the day after I called in. The office is immaculate. Dr. Earnest was awesome. He determined that the crown could be cemented back in...and twenty minutes later---I had my smile back. My husband and I have found a new dental home forever!!!!
