My first experience was horrible, my second one was much better. Seems to depend on what dentist you get The facility is modern and they have some top notch technology. Some of their staff was very polite, but there were some others who were quite rude, especially one man who was trying to pressure additional services on me. (Like tooth whitening. My teeth arent that bad, but I do drink tea which yellows your teeth a bit) The dentist I had was also excessively forceful, and blamed me for not getting dental services as frequently as I should. I grew up poor and had much longer bouts without dental service, but I took good enough care of my teeth to where I never had any problems. On my second visit I got my wisdom teeth pulled, and with that I was rather happy and can say in confidence they did a great job. I personally dont think I will be ever going back for normal check-ups because my first experience was that awful.

Wow! Flexible Dentistry at its BEST!!! With my hectic schedule, flexibility is a high priority for me. I love how they understand those needs and are so accommodating. The staff is highly professional with a hometown feel. I dont dread going to the dentist as much as I did as a child. They made me feel comfortable in the chair as well as out of it! Filling a cavity today was quick and painless! Love it also how they explain what they are going to do before they do it so I am not surprised. If youve been dreading going to any dentist in a while, I highly recommend you give them a try!

This is hands down, the best dental experience I have ever had! I started with issues that I knew needed to be resolved, anxiety over the procedures and how much it would cost and most of all, embarrassment. From my very first appointment, I have always felt like they just wanted to help me and make me healthy again. Today, I am all fixed, cavity free and love my smile again. I have and will continue to recommend Main Street Dental to anybody and everybody that needs a dentist! Dr. Schafer and his entire staff are all amazing!

I had a great first visit with the Main Street staff! They are very friendly, professional and nonjudgmental - all things I value in dental office. Their deal for new patients is awesome and makes that first visit very reasonable. I have chosen not to remove my wisdom teeth, as they dont cause me pain and I take the effort to clean them regularly. Most dentists I have visited with have strongly encouraged me to remove them but I was happy to find that the Main St staff didnt do that. I highly recommend them!

An absolute comfortable place to go for your dentistry needs! My husband and I came here a few years ago to try it out and we dont regret it! I had always been afraid of the dentist prior to coming here and they changed that experience for me! The staff is truly great! They remember our names and details that we share about our lives from visit to visit! Its nice to be greeted by friendly faces. I strongly recommend Main Street Dental for when youre in need of dental services!

I give it a three star for two reasons. First, in my humble opinion no one should ever get five stars because there is always room for improvement. Second, I was hoping that they would have a payment option available but they dont so its not really viable for a person on a budget. However they do tell you the cost beforehand. Having said that, I am more than satisfied with their work and their professionalism. The people are nice and the place looks really hygienic and modern.

Dr. Schafer and staff at Main Street Dental definitely go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable, informed and feel welcomed at each dental visit. The facility is very clean, bright and professional. The staff does a fantastic job educating you on your teeth and it is obvious they all truly have a passion for what they do. They are honest, approachable and friendly. I offer nothing but the highest of recommendations for Main Street Dental in Mankato.

Everyone at the Mankato location is not only super friendly, but also very knowledgeable. They explain all options available so that you can make an informed decision. They have the latest technology and equipment. You can also plan on having the same dentist for years to come since this clinic is privately owned and not a corporation where you have a new dentist every year. I would highly recommend Main Street Dental Clinic on St Andrews Dr. in Mankato.

I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere from the staff, the awesome information and education they provide about the dental work Im getting, and main street dental clinic allows the dental experience to be pain free and comfortable, which I love. Main Street Dental is a wonderful dental clinic, I highly recommend them. I have had some aweful experiences with other clinics in the past which made me nervous about going to the dentist. When I went to Main Street Dental they made sure I was informed with every step of the cleaning and procedures. They did a great job and I wont be nervous to go back the next time I need to make another appointment.

Everyone at Main Street Dental is super nice and helpful. They take their time and explain what theyre doing and explain your x-rays to you and they basically make sure that youre well informed when it comes to your teeth. I had a really great experience and it was really affordable. I will definitely be making them my regular dental clinic and recommending them to friends and family!

Ive been able to go to several dental offices in mankato. All have been professional and friendly however Main Street Dental takes the cake. They have the ability and attitude to make clients as comfortable as possible. Everytime I walked in I was greeted by name. All of our conversations were thoughtful and caring. I would love to return for any future dental needs or cleanings.

I havent been to the dentist in over 10 years. They eased my fears of going to the dentist and were very pleasant and polite through out the entire process. They listened to all my concerns and were open about what was going to happen. Very clean and modern facility. I will always come back here and will be bringing my son!
