I began with Dr. Miller shortly after she came to Urbandale Family Dentistry. She has the best patient/dentist manner I have experienced for as long as I can remember going to the dentist. She is thorough and tells me what she is doing and what she is finding as she exams my mouth. That lessens the anxiety that many feel when going to the dentist. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They work very well together. The atmosphere is relaxing. You can even watch a TV show while being examined or having work done on your teeth. I have told many in my family about Dr. Miller and now my daughter and her 2 children and husband are using Dr. Miller as their family dentist. My niece who lives in Emmetsburg and her daughter are driving all the way to Urbandale for their dental health. I cant say enough about the superior dental care that I am receiving from Dr. Miller. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Tippin and Dr. Miller as well as their wonderful staff have been treating my family for years. One of my daughters had a fear of going to the dentist as a child but the Dental Hygienists and Dr. Tippin treated her gently and calmly so she could relax during her cleaning and exam. They do a great job of reminding you of your appointments, detailing their billing and following up on any details or care that is needed. The office is always clean and comfortable, the hygienists great you in the lobby and the kiddos get a treat on the way out the door! Highly recommended!

I would trust my smile with no one else. Ive been a patient of Dr. Tippins for over 15 years and have trusted him with all of my family. Through the years we have moved farther and farther away from his office but still continue to be loyal to his practice. From your first interaction at the front desk to picking the prize from the treasure chest my family has always felt safe, taken care of, and at home with all of our dental needs. If you are new to the area or looking for a new dentist there is no need to look any farther. You have found the BEST.

Ive been going to Urbandale Family Dentistry for several years now, and I am very satisfied with my experiences there. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The waiting room is warm and inviting, and they make sure that you are taken care of in a timely manner. I know a lot of people fear going to the dentist, but Dr Tippins, and the rest of the staff make you feel very comfortable. I dont write very many reviews but I felt obligated to make sure that everyone knows that this is the most reliable dentistry in Des Moines.

I had a great experience with Dr. Miller. She is a wonderful dentist and very personable. The hygienists were friendly knowledgeable and provided expert answers to any questions I had regarding my oral health. Dr. Miller was great with me and my two nephews. They are 2 and 5 and I am amazed that she even got them to sit still that long. Ive recommended her to any friends who were looking for a new dentist in the Des Moines area and they have all been extremely happy with their care. Overall, an excellent experience.

I have been a patient of Urbandale Family Dentistry for at least 15 years... I even worked there part-time while they were at their old location on Madison Ave. All of the employees are extremely friendly and work effortlessly to keep my mouth healthy. I get a sense that they really care about me as a person. Always asking me about my family and sharing stories about theirs. Seems like I always get a little tense while in the chair, but they really help me relax while I am there. Great Job !

I have been a patient of Dr. Tippins for over 35 years. I cant imagine going anywhere else for dental care. Vicki greets everyone with a smile and calls them by their first name and there is never a wait to be seen. Dr. Tippins and his staff provide excellent, thorough exams and cleanings. I live in a small town southeast of Des Moines and drive to Urbandale twice a year to get that "small town" feeling from Urbandale Family Dentistry. Kudos, Dr. Tippins, for doing dentistry right!!

I had a lot of apprehension about changing dentists after 20+ years but my husband convinced me several years ago to give Dr. Tippins a chance. So I did and the change was seamless! Everyone at the clinic is professional and seem to genuinely have interest in me as a person as well. My husband and I are both patients and now friends with the Tippins ! This is a warm, inviting setting and the staff make it a pleasure to go do that every 6 months thing. Thank you!!

I have complete trust in her and her work. The entire staff is wonderful. Very friendly staff. They take great care of you! If you are having trouble and they cant help you - they will find you someone that can, great customer service. I had trouble with TMJ and they referred me to a physical therapist that specialized in it. Dr. Tippins still asks me how my jaw is doing every time Im in and its been almost 5 years. Its obvious their goal is to serve the patient.

As a patient for many years now, I have had great care at UFD. Very detail oriented and friendly staff. I never dread going in for my checkups and cleaning, I actually look forward to it. I have been to a lot of dentists in my life and Urbandale family dentistry is hands down the best. I have bad anxiety about going to the dentist but Dr.Tippins and his staff make it easier.
