Anastasia Beaverhausen

Went in for a cleaning. They said I had peridental disease and needed scaling of my teeth that would take over 4 treatments, put me on an antibiotic and some pain meds. that I had a cracked filling that needed to be replaced. They took x rays that were not good because the technician couldnt run the equipment. I didnt think that I needed the extra treatment, and went to an experienced dentist. I do not have periodontal disease. the bone is strong, no cracked filling, their X-ray showed a space between two teeth that had a filling in each . they missed that I have a dental fistula that needs watching for now. When I asked later to send a copy of my dental records to this other dentist, was told it would cost $250 and take some time. These two dentists have been told by their peers not to do stuff like this, not to look at an older patient and want to run up the bill just because they can. Oh when I saw the other dentist, I told him if he thought I needed any of what they recommended, to do it himself. A carrot to see if he would grab at it and he said things were fine. Be very careful with these two very young dentists who seem to prey on older adults. It is going to get them in a lot of hot water. FOLLOWUP NOTE: i went to a third dentist for an opinion and that dentist couldnt find the level of care these folks wanted. I dont have a cracked or loose filling, my mouth is fine. I received a phone call from one of the dentists who assured me that I Had all the problems they saw. I mentioned the two other dentists I went to and was told the they were the newest professional team in town, and those other dentists had "old tired eyes and missed it all." That goes beyond saying, unprofessional. These dentists may be good, but they treated me wrong. I am going to someone else, sorry. I had a very negative experience, perhaps others will have better.

As part of the staff at Young General Dental/Grimes Family Dentistry, I love working with Dr. Trung and Dr. Orhan. I am one of the hygienists who works there and have no complaints. I wanted to leave a positive review because of the last review given by Anastasia. Weve never even seen anyone by the name Anastasia Beaverhausen and when we Googled the name, it turns out thats the name of a tv character on the popular show Will and Grace. Theres a lot of false sentences in there as well, for example.. I dont treat periodontal disease in 4 appointments! If you need treatment like that, I always get it done in 2 appointments so youre not having to come back several different times. Reviews are wonderful and we love them, but want you to be aware that false names and reviews CAN occur. If youre looking to give these two docs a try, I know theyd be happy to meet you. If I felt like they were trying to run up a patients bill, I would never work with them. Both doctors are very honest and knowledgeable and the rest of the employees I work with are very nice. Youre in charge of your own mouth, were here to let you know whats going on and give you different solutions that can help :-)

I recently found the team at Young General Dental, and couldnt be happier about it. After a negative experience with my previous dentist, and not feeling as if I was being taken care of, I called YGD to get back on track...and boy did they get me back on track! I was given some recommendations and referrals, and now Im well on my way...with a new set of braces!! Since the first visit, everyone from the front desk to the dentist have been so sincerely helpful and welcoming. I have never felt rushed, and Dr. Orhan has made sure to explain all options available to me so I can make an informed decision for myself...The entire staff are a fabulous group of people. I rarely write reviews, but Lynae, Kylie, Dr. Orhan have been so great that I had to sit down and write one.

Ive attended Young General Dentistry for just over a year. All of my visits to the office have been very pleasant. I have never had to wait long. The team is friendly and professional. Dr. Trung is great at explaining procedures and seems to take great pride in his practice. I recommend Young General Dentistry to anybody!
