I have been using Dr. Joe and company since the 80s. Now he has his son Ryan and his wife Rebecca on staff as well as the great Dr. Ferguson and many others. They are compassionate, friendly and professional in how they interact with the animals (I have cats and dogs) as well as the Moms and Dads that own them. The office staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. Follow up is wonderful. Many medical procedures can be done on the premises which minimizes the stress on everyone because you get the results right away and can shorten the time to begin a targeted and effective treatment for your pet. I had a need for quick diagnosis and treatment for an elderly pet that was evacuated because of Irma and their compassionate and quick treatment has saved her life. The pet owner says he is going to come up here twice a year for wellness visits just to go to VMC. Your pet will become their pet and will be treated like it was their own. You cant go wrong by choosing VMC!

Have used VMC for many years and have found them to be very capable, cost effective, and to provide very good care to both cats and dogs. The Staff are all caring and truly interested in helping you. VMC is very up to date in their equipment and treatment methodologies. We had a tiny kitten crawl up to our house with a broken leg last year - we rushed it to a Cat specialist and after a very poor quality XRay they recommended just cutting the leg off as the kitten was so small. We brought the Kitten to Dr. Gaston, who successfully splinted the leg several times and now this Kitten is grown, healthy, and a dear part of our Family. I have also brought our Cavalier to Dr. Gaston and received excellent care and recommendations particular to this breed.

Kind, knowledgeable doctors and staff who really care about their animal patients and their pet parents. I have been going there since 1998 and have had nothing but excellent service and care for my fur kids. When I lost two elderly kitties (each nearly 17 years old) this year, I received not only a sympathy card with hand written notes from everyone involved in treating my kitties but a beautiful bouquet of flowers. All of the doctors are great but Dr. Andras Tigyi and Dr. Rebecca Gaston are special. Being open seven days a week with extended hours during the week makes it easy to fit your pets doctor visits into any schedule.

Dr. Tigy is the best. Without him and VMC, our most senior cat would not be alive anymore. He is highly tuned into medical care for cats. They wont overcharge for procedures or overdo prodedures either, but also not push for putting the pet down for being old and needing geriatrics care, and has been very good and successful in managing the health issues of our beloved family pet of 17 years. They have been extremely thorough with diagnising and managing. Dr. Ryan literally saved one of our other cats butt by, well, doing highly skilled emergency surgery on an infected wound on her behind on a late Saturday afternoon.

My husband and I have been going to the Veterinary Medical Center for 3 years now for our 2 cats and dog. They are nothing short of amazing. Theyve taken care of UTIs, routine exams and even helped guide us through rehabilitating our rescue dog who had a severe case of heart worms and was underweight. We now live in Stone Mountain and havent even considered switching vets. Its a family run business with Dr. Gaston and his son and daughter-in-law caring about the animals as if they were part of their own family. Use the Veterinary Medical Center if you want a practice that is devoted to the well being of your pets.

We have been taking our family pets to Vet Med Center for 2 decades now and have always received the utmost courtesy and care. When boarding, the kennel areas are always spotless and they provide playtime as well as any other needs for personal items or treats the customer wants. Check-ups and on-going care are always thoroughly reviewed to insure your pets stay in top physical and mental health. Though expensive, you get what you pay for. It is a well run operation and we have never been disappointed with their service. Thank you Vet Med Center for the excellent service for all these years!

I have been taking my dogs here ever since I can remember and usually have wonderful service. However, I have heard from reliable sources that the male groomer can be overly rough with the dogs. I understand that not all dogs like getting groomed, but when physical contact and/or outright abusive nature is put upon my dog, I consider it as if someone were abusing my own child. I still continue to take my dogs there for medical treatment, but I refuse to ever let them get groomed there. If you feel as stongly as I do about your beloved pets, you should take this FACT seriously.

I love Veterinary Medical Center. Dr. Tigyi not only did a wonderful job with my baby but also calmed my nerves as well. He cares so much about his patients and about their parents as well. I can honestly say that I trust Dr. Tigyi and the entire staff to care for my girl, and that trust is not easily won. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gaston, and he is a wonderfully caring and kind man. You can see his leadership in the way the vets and staff handle both the animals and their owners. Fantastic place.

Look no further, you will not find a better facility! I currently reside in Buckhead and when my cat needed immediate surgery Dr. Tigyi and his crew where the only clinic within a 25 mile radius that was able or willing to take him. The whole staff is caring and attentive to not only the animals needs but the owners as well! Their main goal is the health of the animals that walk through their door and not about the money. These people are saints and I am forever grateful to them for keeping my big boy alive!

Our Cavalier has been having knee problems for a while and last Friday while playing his knee cap went out. We rushed him over and they were waiting for us. While one Vet worked on him the other kept us updated and educated us on his situation. While I was a bit hysterical and worried I left feeling like we received the best care ever. The only downside in my opinion is that he needs surgery and b/c its specialized we have to take him elsewhere. I would highly recommend these Vets to anyone!!!

I have used Veterinary Medical Center for over 20 years, and I have been so impressed with them. They are open every day, so the need to visit the emergency clinic is almost eliminated. I had an epileptic dog, and their care for him was better than that of the neurologist down on Abernathy. Same for my dog who had megaesophigus. Theyve performed numerous surgeries on my dogs and have shown themselves to be amazing vets. I cant recommend them more highly.

We have been taking our pets to VMC since we moved to the area in 1998. The doctors and staff know our pets and treat them with great love and care. They have been with us as we have made the tough decisions about end-of-life care and have saved the life of our young dog that had acute kidney failure. We have used them for boarding and for grooming. It is nice to have a place to take our pets for everything they need!
