Took my puppy here today. I had been going to Alpharetta Animal Hospital but thought Id try Little River since it was really close. My dog got very upset and growled and snapped at the vet when she went to examine his stomach. He has never been aggressive before. Not with other children or animals. We have three children and they tug at him constantly. I was asked right after Rex growled and tried to bite the vet whether the breeder would take him back. I got very upset. The vet told me she would not keep a dog that did what my dog did if there were kids involved. It was like my dog was a piece of clothing that I could just return. I then checked out and got a bill for $284. I had called prior to coming in and was told it would be about $50. I questioned the bill and they said my dog had an ear infection. Still was floored that no one told me how much it was going to cost. When I left I called the Atlanta Dog Trainers to see what I should do with Rex. When I told them what the vet said, they were surprised and said that no vet should ever say that. They explained that my dogs behavior was not unusual, i.e., he was in a new place, scared and did not trust the vet. They told me that in no way should I think of giving my dog back. I switched back to Alpharetta Animal Clinic and am totally disgusted by what I was put through. Do not go to this vet.

Dr. Craft, Dr. McFarland and ALL of the staff--Logan, Abby, on and on are THE BEST vets EVER!! We started going to them about 2 and a half years ago, when we moved to the area and needed a super understanding vet for our aging, sensitive Rottweiler that had been my sole companion and best friend for 8 GLORIOUS years!! Now, we are back using Little River Again.....for our new FurBaby named Daisy- A Completely different dog than our first, and again the staff at Little River is simply FANTASTIC! If anyone is looking for a vet that will really LISTEN to you, and can really UNDERSTAND your situation (whatever it is), without making you feel like you are less than the next guy that has a pocket full of cash, and will truly HELP YOU get the BEST POSSIBLE CARE you can for your fur-babies, then I recommend them HIGHLY. They have a full range facility, and their surgery, labs, and radiology are all top notch. It is nice to go to a place where you know that you are getting the best, being treated BY the best, and that your best friends are in the best HANDS possible in their time of need....or just for that routine check up! They have really helped to open my eyes to how a real vet office experience can be, and I honestly couldnt thank them enough for all that they have done for my 4-legged family!!

Dr. Mize and his staff are the most knowledgable in vetenarian care. I have taken 3 separate families of dogs through my life to him at Ptree corners and he by far is the best vet I have ever been to. I drive 60 miles to go to him and pass several cheaper vets on the way. He may be more expensive, and I am certainly not rich, but you get what you pay for. The service was fine, and our vet was great, but we waited an hour for shots with seemingly no other customers. We also felt ripped off with the pricing, as they only shared PARTIALLY what we were being charged for. We were horribly overcharged and felt very taken advantage of - I cried when we left. Avoid this clinic unless you have money to burn.

Excellent service!! The staff is incredible. The doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful.They have taken the time to get to know my dog very well, and it makes me feel at home. I trust them completely with my pet.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE. They charge exorbitant prices. My cat only had a scratch from another cat. No stitches needed. It cost $500!!!!!
