I had been A patient at Sage Dental for many years. I was a patient when the name was "Gentle Dental".I recently upgraded my insurance to a better plan. After doing so, I went to my usual teeth cleaning in which I look forward to every 6 months. At this cleaning, they completed my x-ray like always and after reviewing my insurance with me, they begin to tell me I needed a root canel with a crown, I needed 6 fillings, I also could no longer get a regular cleaning and I MUST get s deep cleaning and keep the maintenance up every 4 months which is a cost out of my pocket. If I did not want the deep cleaning,they were not going to be able to clean my teeth because this was what the doctor requested. Well...after me asking many questions such as, what could have caused my teeth to go from a regular cleaning to a deep cleaning in 6 months? Also, how did I get all the bone loss etc?They had no answers, they continued to try and persuade me that my teeth were horrible and after calculating everything I would have been out of about $1,000 of my money after the insurance paid their portion. I left so upset and decided to switch my dentist. What was a disaster turned into a blessing when I left. The new dentist completed x-rays and determined that I did NOT need a root canel with a crown, I did NOT need a deep cleaning and in fact I only needed a regular cleaning. Yes I do need filling but not 6 ONLY 4. I am so happy I switched and will NEVER return to Sage Dental. I tapped 1 star but honestly they do not need any stars from me. Thank you!!!

I was a little skeptical and nervous because I was scheduled for two extractions and this was my first time with this dentist. This was probably one of the best visits I have had in my life with any dentist. Dr. Jennifer Araya took the time to explain what she saw based on xrays and then she examined and confirmed. During the procedure she gave me play by play of what she was doing, she placed sun glass on my face so her examination light would not irritate me and the whole time her and her assistant sung the songs playing on the radio. The bedside manner of Dr Araya and her team are outstanding. I look forward to seeing her again.

Your office runs very smoothly. Everyone is friendly, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable. My dental exam with the Doctor Gul was very relaxing. He was professional, gentle & very nice. The x-ray tech was the same...professional, gentle & nice. Monica was my hygienist & she was absolutely wonderful & did a very thorough job...she was professional, nice & gentle. All-in-All it was a very good experience & I would recommend Sage Dental to my friends & family! Thank you!
