I visited Dr. Bansal this week on 9/21 (this can be verified in his records) for regular annual health check and had a complete disappointing experience. I understand now why he has such less review. During appointment, his nurse checked me first and did blood work and ask some standard set of questions which is normally asked in any health check up for patient history and then said that Dr. Bansal will see me in few mins. Mr. Bansal comes, validates the records and asks if I have anything else to discuss. I had all of sudden some low BP issue few weeks (Im 36 and experienced first time in my life and wanted to discuss this with Doctor to understand the issue) and started telling about that. He said, "Did I discuss this with his nurse?". I said no as she asked few questions and went. I thought of discussing this with you. I was surprised to hear Dr. Bansal response "You take another appointment and discuss with my Nurse first before discussing this with me" Really? I said I already told my problem to you, your are sitting next to me and if can spend few more mins to understand my issue. He said "Im practicing since last 30 years and dont try to teach me, it was your job to discuss with Nurse everything before discussing with me and because you missed, take another appointment". He quoted that "If you to Grocery Store, its up to you what you want to buy, tomatoes, carrots etc." I was shocked to hear this, am I there to buy tomatoes or discuss some severe problem with him. Mr. Bansal said, he cannot discuss anything with me in this regard and left the room suggesting me to take another appointment. I have visited many other doctors and never heard or no doctor told me to take another appointment to discuss any issue if I didnt discuss with nurse. I am not happy with this behavior and now deciding to change my doctor. If my primary care physician is saying that, not sure what else Im supposed to do. I have no option to give 0 ratings, hence giving one star. He even doesnt deserve that. Please refrain visiting this doctor and his urgent care.

My father uses this doctor. My father has a very rare parasite that causes him slot of pain. This doctor put him on suboxene to get him off of his pain medication. (Norco). One week following this he went into cardiac arrest and was in the hospital for ten days. Had a pacemaker put in and the CARDIOLOGIST at mount Carmel east prescribed him TWO WEEKS OF NORCO and Dr Bansel cancelled his prescription because he wants him on suboxene. The suboxene part doesnt bother me but the fact that he cancelled his prescription for a very low grade narcotic is absolutely insane. Bansel visited my father in the hospital and didnt have a single clue what he was talking about.y father mentioned chest pain to this doctor MULTIPLE times and there was never anything done about it. No testing or anything. I wouldnt recommend anyone use this guy. Hes just a money hungry POS. My father will be finding a new doctor asap because this guy is just going to kill him. Not to mention he can barely speak English which wouldnt be a problem but how are we supposed to know what hes saying if we cant understand him!!

Ive been seeing Dr. Bansal as my GP for 3 years , and must say, hes a great doctor. He can be " gruff" at times, but he prefers bluntness and I appreciate that. He does care about you as a patient, I have to Say to the staff : Stephanie, Cinda, Ramona, and Brock: you guys rock! All of them speak to me like a person, and know who I am when I walk in. They have always been great about accomodating my needs. The only downside i can say is that the Therapist that was there (Raahkee) recently left, and was one of the warmest people I had ever met. As long as Dr. Bansal is practicing, I will always be a patient. * Keith K

This doctor isnt very professional at all. With my health insurance coverage I have no copay and they made me pay $30 dollars. Then the doctor told me if I went back within thirty days he would waive the fee. Very dishonest. Of course I didnt go back. It was a complete waste of my money and my time.
