My story goes: I had been trying to reach this facility for 3 weeks as my insurance carrier referred me to them. Day one I called was Monday the 5th, no one answered the phone so I left a voicemail as the machine asked and they said they would return the calls in the order they came. So I waited fro a call back. Personal life got busy didn’t think anything of it till the next Monday. So I called again and everyday that week I continued this calling pattern of voicemail leaving in hopes someone would call me with any bit of information. Finally Thursday the 22nd someone named Jessica answered the phone she was not very polite but helped me with telling me that are working on the phone this week. I told her I had been calling their offices for more that just the past week and that someone surly should have gotten one of the voicemails by now. She then chuckled at me and then transferred me back to the voicemail I had been leaving voicemails on but before she did she said just wait for someone to call you. So I called back and I explained to her again no one answers the phone or calls me back and asked her to help me. She stated rudely she is not part of that department and said in a monotone voice loudly the extension of the voicemail she transferred me to. Finally at my last attempt this morning the 26th at 9:30am I reach Jessica again she again assisted me rudely to the "right department" and no one answered. So I push any extension to try to reach someone and I get a women that did not introduce herself. I explained to her my story and she continued to start to help me. She asked my insurance carrier and I told her, she then huffed under her breath and said is that medicare? I said no maam this is a multi-plan carrier with a PPO network. I told her that I was referred by my insurance to a specific doctor (Dr. Vito) but I would take any of the rheumatologist available for new patients. She then snapped before I could finish and huffed again into the phone and then proceeded to say well Vito isnt taking new patients thats why we didnt call you back. I couldnt believe what I was hearing how can a place that is supposed to help people be so rude and not caring They are nurses this is your carrier to care for people and help them. It makes me wonder what really happens behind closed doors. These people should be rep-remanded for their work ethics as they clearly do not have any care for others.I do not know what you do with companies like this but I did submit this story to the BBB as well. They should be punished. I may be sick and it may hurt at times but I work my butt off to get through school and work full time so I can be a better contribute to this society. Being that they are an internal medicine facility maybe someone can help them locate their hearts!

About 6 years ago my mother was diagnosed with RA. She went to several doctors in our area (north Pinellas County) who gave her little to no hope. As time went on my mothers pain, and subsequently quality of life severely decreased. We were referred to Suncoast RA and Dr.Mally, and while my mom didnt want to drive the 40 minutes to this office I encouraged her to try this Doctor as we had nothing to lose. My mothers life hasnt been the same since! Dr. Mallay has drastically increased her quality of life, and most importantly has given her hope! Dr. Mally is so wonderful, kind, and empathetic. She always greets us with a smile and a laugh, and spends as much time as necessary to help my mom! My mother is already starting to feel better and her spirits are up! In a medical world that has become quite awful I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Mallay and her staff, and how they make mother feel like so much more than just a number in their office!

Doctors are good, but hours are horrid...especially for someone who works a full time job. It takes me 2 weeks just to get anything to somewhat work with my schedule and then i still need to take time off of work. Ill find a new office for that reason alone. Half days on Fridays is absurd.
