Dr. Joshua Gibson is a great doctor. Hes very helpful and kind. The staff is what makes this medical facility a negative experience. The receptionists do not answer the phone most of the time. They do not return phone calls. When you call their office it gives you an off the hook tone, so it is very difficult to even get through to talk to someone. I needed a referral to a specialist, the one they gave me could not see me for 2 months and it was for something very important so I told them I needed a different one. The receptionist told me to find one myself and than she would do a referral for me. I called one day an hour before their office closed (because they had not sent over my paperwork to the specialist I had just arrived to see) I called several times and finally someone picked up and said that they shut their phones off 30-45 minutes prior to closing for the day everyday. They take an hour and a half lunch and completely shut down. They only work a few hours on Fridays. They are not customer service oriented at all. They seem to forget that their job is to service the customers that the doctors in their office service. I would not recommend this medical facility to anyone!

Dr. Eastin and the staff at Lake shore medical have been professional and courteous since I became a patient a couple of years ago. I have a lot of medical issues and need referrals, medication refills, and tests on a regular basis. Until about a month ago, I worked full-time so I needed my doctor to be available when ever I could get away from work. They always accommodated me and never gave me the feeling they were too busy for my phone calls and numerous questions. Dr. Eastin listens to my problems and works with me to achieve the best outcome possible. I actually just referred my best friend to Lakeshore and Im sure she will love it as much as I do. I think the complaints and problems some people have with doctors offices these days are a direct result of Obama care and all of the tedious red tape that goes along with it!!!

Takes 2-3 days to get prescription refills. Can only request refills via an automated voicemail system, and you can only get through to this voicemail system during open business hours which are worse than a bank. Only open until noon on Fridays, and basically 9 to 5 M-Th. On top of that the doctors are only there 3 out of those 4 days and have 2-3 week period before becoming available. Also, doesnt matter what your prescription is for, youre required to make an appointment to visit the doctor every 3 months or they will not refill any prescriptions. So, you have to jump through all of those hoops stated above every 3 months to see the doctor just to say "Everything is fine and good with the prescription Im on." Then you go on your way and do it all again.

Went in for an appt. to discuss thryroid function with Dr. Eastin and she was more interested in berating me for not having received the seasonal flu shot. Tried to schedule a follow up appt. to an urgent situation with another Dr. and was told that there was no availability for 4 weeks. Existing patients in a practice should not need to wait 4 weeks in the event of an urgent situation. The receptionists are as friendly as that physician. Couldnt leave that practice soon enough.

Dr. Gibson is amazing! I am very very picky about doctors because I used to work in the medical field but doctor Gibson is awesome. Makes you feel at home works with what you want not what he thinks you should do. I see him so does my newborn daughter and my 9 year old. Trust me you wont be disappointed.

This place is terrible. Dont go here unless you can plan your colds and sicknesses out 2 to 3 weeks in advance... extremely understaffed and under trained in customer service. Looking for a new Primary Care immediately.
