Had the worst experiences here. They claimed pre approval for procedure from insurance but didnt even request the approval, I said ow after being jammed in the gums with an x-ray thing and was very rudely told that I could just leave now if I was going to complain, I filed a complaint against that person and said I wouldnt go to that hygienist again so they put me with her again and she was worse plus telling me she is the nicest person and they have never had a complaint against her... Um no I filed one 6mos prior..... One dentist there left a piece of tiny equipment lodged in my tooth and called over it causing infection and I had to have dental surgery they didnt pay for, another did what I later found out was a lot of unnecessary work on my teeth, they also lost many of my childs dental records and then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and she had only been there 3 times so I had to get the Billings from our insurance company to show that over the 3-4 years my child had gone every 6mos..... I also got rude notes from billing on my first bill from them (bcs they didnt bother getting the approval in advance) saying I needed to pay now or they would send it to collections, it was the first bill sent to me... Cannot say enough negative things about this place. I wouldnt recommend it to an enemy.

My very first time doing business with this dental office was today and I would like to share my opinion. When I first walked inside the building I was taken aback at how immaculate the reception/waiting area was. The receptionist was efficient and friendly enough I suppose. Ive seen better and Ive seen worse. Another gal sitting in the desk area was kind of off putting. I didnt put much thought into it until I read the Facebook reviews and realized this is a seemingly reoccuring observation. I will give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was having a bad day. We all do at times. My dental hygienist was amazing. Her name was Becky Rudolph and I would like to give her a special shout-out on this Google review. She is my one hope in this dental practice to ease my anxiety about getting my teeth worked on. All the non-reception dental staff I came into contact with were skilled, pleasant, explained everything thoroughly, and I was left with no questions after my scheduled treatment. I would say yes, do give them a chance. They have been helping me steadily get my oral health back.

This place really sucks!! They cracked my tooth (drilling before i was numb) about a year and a half ago, they "fixed" it by shaving my tooth down and throwing a cap on it. Well ive had nothing but pain with it since! Ive tried setting up an appt back in january, but they said i was no longer allowed since my kids grandfather died and i missed an appt. For the most part ive been tollerating it, but now its unbearable. Ive been calling them since 8am, which is when they open. Ive been getting voicemail everytime (its 8:40 now) i feel like they should fix theyre mistake. But its also getting to the point where theyre making it known that the dont care about their patients, even the ones that they screwed up on. Long story short, i will never give good word for you guys!!!

Ive had four different appointments with them. They were able to keep two out of four. The first one magically was lost in their calendar even though I got a text regarding it. The other two were acceptable. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I showed up 30 minutes early. I checked in and proceeded to wait 55 minutes before I told them I was leaving. The receptionist was a real peach and had an attitude. "Well we have your scheduled until 11". Well Ive spent an hour here and all I asked for is punctuality and you cant provide. Steer clear unless you only have the dentist on your agenda for the day.

i call and try to make an appointment because Im in a lot of pain and Im told that I cant get an appointment because I have missed too many appointments even though I was just there a week ago and and they made me another appointment in a month. The lady at the front desk, Brenda I like her name is, was suppose to call me back after she talked to the doctor to see if he will see me but she never did. So Im sitting here in a lot of pain and can barley eat or drink and cant go to the dentist I just seen last week. The sad thing is that this isnt the first time they done this to me.

Anderson is my maiden name. Lee is my married name. I just havent changed it on my Google account yet so my last name is showing up as Anderson still. I just was in there for an appointment earlier this morning. I do not know her name but I did not like the hygienist that did my cleaning today. She was way to rough. She kept jabbing the scraper way to hard in my gums. Also she used the scaler on me too. Between that and her constantly jabbing my gums with the scraper my mouth is tender and sore. It hurt

This was my daughters first visit and she said everyone was very nice and helpful. They explained all what they were going to do before they did it so she would know and not be afraid. I have been coming for over a year and I would not dream of going anywhere else! The staff and doctors seem like they truly care and have always helped me.

Amazing practice! They are wonderful with my 3.5 year old they have eased her into the whole preventative care process. They have recently got her comfortable enough for a full preventative appointment xrays, cleaning, and exam. We enjoy all staff members and my daughter was especially fond of her recent hygienist Jodi.

I have a fear when it comes to the dentist. Western Iowa Dental Group has always made me feel very comfortable. They always ask if Im okay and explain every step of every process. All of the staff are very friendly and always recommend this office to friends and family

Have never had a bad experience here. Today was my daughters first dentist visit. She was treated amazingly and came you of the office happier than she went in. The process was smooth and my daughter and myself were very comfortable the entire time!

Receptionist very helpful, patient, polite. Helped with address change that was an error and had ex-husbands address. Dental hygienist, Paulsen always very professional, friendly and efficient! Best Dental care I have had is with all of you!

I have visited Western Iowa Dental with parents as a translator. I loved their professionalism so much I switched! Such a pleasant visit. I was listened to and all my questions were answered. They all simply cared. Made me feel welcome

I have ban to many dentists and I must say WIDC are by far the best dentists I have ever used!! If youre scared of dentists, dont be!! They make you feel so comfortable and at ease. And they are the absolute nicest people too!!
