Dont get good vibes about this place. Signed up for the "plan" for our puppy and I feel like they just want to cop you out on more & more money. Not very good at explaining "vaccines & preventative shots" they just want to tack them on to your total at checkout in my opinion. Ive been to Many vets my whole life and have never left feeling the way they make me feel. They seem to want the money out of your wallets and thats that. Went in for an eye infection & ear issues, theylooked at her ears and aparrently just said "theyre just dirty" DID NOT clean them. Come to find out they swab and tested them .. POSITIVE FOR YEAST!! Mind you I was not told about the outcome of this test (because they take your dog in the back room and you leave them there) Took her back in today for her ears because they were filled with discharge (as they were before) worried that she had something going on. They told me she had already used her ear swab test that came with the care package plan (?) (that came back positive for yeast the first time) so I was going to be charged $40 for that test and $30 just for them TO CLEAN HER EARS!? I asked why I was being charged again for a test she already had and basically she told me "it was just a surface test the first time this is more indepth testing" aka they didnt want the assistant to tell me it came back positive the first time. AS WELL AS she (the assistant) didnt know why they didnt do anything about it the first time... Im still at this point asking WTF? So, I pick up my dog, pay 130 for all this bull**** after asking the vet on the phone about all this.. The assistant brings her out and trys covering it up right off the bat with "it wasnt this bad last time and this time it was worse thats why we did all this" before I even say a word. Thats like telling a female with a yeast infection to wait a month until it gets worse before treating it. WHAT. THE. HELL. Im beyond annoyed by this place. Seems like a big scam and Im not the only one who seems to feel this way. Dont take your pets to a chain vet. Thats what I have come to conclude. Ps- I feel like the good google reviewers below are the Banfield people trying to imply its a great place.

I brought my dog here for his first time visit to a vet and at first the gentlemen was really helpful. My dog is a rednose pitbull who is the BIGGEST baby ever. He treated him like any other dog and soon enough they were buds! I made an appointment for 2-3 weeks later for all shots and a next day neuter. The man told me I only need to make an appointment for the shots, and a neuter appointment was not nessacary as they schedule it the next day after the shots. After I asked him mulitple times is he sure I dont need to schedule a nueter appointment, me and my dog went on our way to wait for his shot appointments. Well we went yesterday, and when I got there, no one knew nothing! I had to explain everything all over, they were asking me what he needed .. beats me!! Thats what the doctor was for!! It made me feel like the doctor just acted like he cared and the worst part was at first they told me they couldnt get him in for his neuter till next week. (They didnt even know he needed one, no notes or nothing) I almost started crying and walked out, because I dont want them to forget to do something to my dog or pretend to care and when im not around something go wrong. Overall it was okay, they got him in next day for his surgery and they just kinda went along with what I said and nodded their heads. Hes there now for the neut so HOPEFULLY hes fine =(

Yay! Great experience. I took my cat here for a simple checkup, after seeing online that first time visits are free. I was really impressed. Everyone was so pleasant! The person who answered the phone was nice, booking the appointment was easy, we were greeted kindly & promptly by the person at the desk, after a short wait in the exam room the nurse came in and was very helpful, the veterinarian was knowledgeable and professional. It was just a quick checkup but I felt that everyone here really cared for my cat and her needs. They gave us a confirmation call before the appointment but what really surprised me was the follow-up call to make sure Margot was feeling ok after her shots. Never once did we feel like a number at a big, chain vet. Prices were reasonable too - cheaper than I expected! I will definitely be back with Margot. So happy to have found a vet I can trust. Thanks everyone at Banfield!

Came here cause my original Animal Hospital was too far of a drive so decided to try something new. Checked in ten min before my appointment time. Waited 30 minutes before a VA actually came out to talk to me. Only to leave my dogs and I for another ten minutes before putting us in a room. Very slow service, front desk lady wasnt very friendly. A girl stormed out of the place because she felt the front desk lady was being very rude. At one point a friend of the front desk lady called her on her work phone so she was on the phone for ten minute just chit chatting while I sat there and waited to meet with a Vet or VA. The whole appointment end up taking over an hour and forty mins for four shots and two check up. Wont be coming back.

This place continuously up-sells you things and sometimes without asking. You are told one thing. Then made to believe your dogs needs other stuff so you agree. You drop the dog off. You get a phone call later with things like this "We noticed your dog didnt have xyz vaccine so we gave it to her." Then, you go to pick up your dog and have an additional $50 on your bill. Also, my dog had to be put to sleep for something and they said her heartbeat plummeted so they had to give her something to the affect of an adrenaline dose. She is little. They almost killed her. Of course, I was charged for that extra something also.

Scandalous! The free examination is a ploy to get you in the door. Upon arrival, reception, vet assistant and veterinarian will attempt to have you sign up for their pet insurance plan. I declined this offer and was then told I needed to return for a booster shot three weeks later. Along with this $15 shot, my dog received another physical examination, unbeknownst to me, and I was charged an additional $40. Managements response to my complaint was that this fee would normally be covered if my pet was insured with their policy. I will be finding a new vet clinic in the future for me pets health needs.

I brought my girls in to establish care. The customer service is outstanding. Shelby greeted us has an excellent approach with both customers and pets. Ally (Allie) was our vet tech and she is spectacular. She took the time to explain things for each dog and was not pushy in any way when I was signing up for wellness plans. She was open and honest. Dr. Welch knows his stuff, speaks frankly and directly, and clearly has skills that will keep my pets healthy and happy. Thanks to the Banfield-Quarry team!
