Visited Dr. Regis office on November 21st, 2013 for a routine exam, x-rays, and cleaning and couldnt be happier with the experience. This review is especially noteworthy when considering all the reasons the visit should not have gone well... Ill confess that at the time of scheduling my appointment it had been almost two years since my last visit to a dentist. The delay was due in part a recent relocation but primarily a result of my general reluctance to visit a dentist, any dentist. Under this backdrop I faced the prospect of going to my next dental exam with some foreboding. Adding to the potential misfortune, Id scheduled the appointment over lunch on a very busy work day, and it just so happened that my boss called an unscheduled meeting that started 1 hour after the dental appointment was set to begin. So, when I arrived for my appointment I was especially stressed and pressed for time. With all of these factors stacked up against her, Dr. Regis had a tall order to fill. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find out the office had already completed the pre-work for my insurance and all I needed to do was fill in a quick series of health questions on a tablet. The receptionist asked if I had any particular concerns and I informed her of my timing issue. She made note of the concern asked me to make myself comfortable in the waiting area. In less than 5 minutes an assistant came out and pleasantly chatted me up on the way to the exam. He noted my concern on timing and indicated he would work to expedite my exam. Within 10 minutes of sitting down he had completed the initial exam and full x-ray suite. Upon completion, Dr. Regis arrived and also indicated that she knew I was in a hurry and in order to fulfill that request she would conduct the exam and cleaning herself. After about 20 minutes of exam and cleaning, as well as some gentle chidding about using a softer tooth brush, I was on my way out the door and headed to my meeting on time. Based upon the professional, timely, and high quality care I received at Dr. Regis office, I highly recommend her services to anyone.

I switched to a new insurance that my old dentist did not take. In search for a new dentist, I wanted to find one that was not a chain dentistry. I drove by a couple of places and knowing the Uptown Park area, I knew that it would be a nice place for a not-so-nice event (dentists...scary!). I know from experience that with later in the day appointments, you usually have to wait a while in the waiting room before you are called back. Then there is the long wait sitting in the chair. I was taken back to the chair almost immediately, and the dentist began immediately. This was definitely the shortest amount of time I have had to spend in the dentist. They were all very friendly and informative. I had absolutely no discomfort during the cleaning process either (flossing has always been horribly painful for me!). I could not believe that I felt no pain during the flossing process. I highly recommend Dr. Lara Regis practice to everyone. The staff is very quick to getting back to you on any needs.

Generally, as one matures, the medical professionals they have developed a positive working relationship with over those many years begin to retire or expire, adapting to the change is often stressful and exhaustive. Developing a rapport and confidence with a replacement’s ability and skills takes time and effort. This is my case. I was referred by a family member who was impressed by this dentist’s manner and skill. I was not disappointed. She was professional, polite and interested in what my concerns were and my reservations. She was thorough and offered detailed explanations. The staff was very accommodating and the office and equipment modern and immaculate. I found my experience very satisfying and she immediately identified the source of my problem in that very first session affecting a successful and cost saving repair. I believe I have found my new dentist.

I wrote a review before because I had an amazing experience, and I actually got a reply from the general manager thanking me for my review personally. It wasnt some electronically generated email. He actually read my review, took it to heart, let his staff know the wonderful things I said about them, and let me know that my words didnt fall on deaf ears. I went back because my insurance had overpaid and they had a check for me, they could have just never let me know, but they did. This place seriously is great, the front staff, the dentists, the oral hygenists, I actually like going to this place more and more, I cant say enough great things about them, this is by far the best dentists office in the world.

The Staff and Dr. Regis were absolutely top notch! My 12 year old son was terrified to go to the dentist after a recent and very traumatic experience. I was impressed with the professional attention given to me as well as to my son. Insurance and all necessary paper work was in proper order and thoroughly completed upon our arrival. We needed a quick appointment due to a cracked tooth. The staff and Dr. Regis arrived extremely early before school to give us their undivided attention and expertise. A warm Thank You, again, to Dr. Regis and staff for the highest patient care, integrity, dedication, and graciousness. Angela Hammar - ALL 5 Stars from our family!!!

My husband and I moved to this area about a year ago. I had a wonderful dentist where I was from and was looking for someone I could feel the same way about. That happened when I made my first visit to Dr. Lara Regis. I went for a routine teeth cleaning. In October I started having pains in my lower left jaw and found out I needed a tooth scaling and crown. That was all taken care of and I got my permanent crown on Monday, December 1. This is a wonderful group of people. They are kind, compassionate, considerate and do an excellent job. Dr. Regis is an excellent dentisit and I found what I was looking for and more.

Having moved to Houston about a year ago, our family needed a new dentist in the area. Thorough, and unsurprising; (they present you with a plan of action ) there is not a finical gotcha when work needs to be finished. As for the actual procedures, our old Dentists in our town (which will remain nameless) must have been trained during The Spanish Inquisition. This placed is more akin to Star Trek as far as procedures, pain management, and plan options. Awesome experience. And I hate going to the dentist.

When I first saw Regis I was in allot of pain and had no clue what was going on, her staff took x rays of my mouth and then showed me what was going on. Regis came in and sat down with me and explained in detail what was going on, she was so nice and so gentle. She made me feel safe, words cant explain how greatful I am for Regis and her staff. If your looking for a dentist stop now because you have found one, she is AMAZING, I dont give her 5 stars but if I could I would give her a million stars.
