I am back again to brag about "My Doc"!!! She is a very petite and beautiful lady who seems to put most of her life into the caring of "Her" patients. She has a staff that has the same outlook toward those they serve. If you are in need and she can help you, she does so immediately & the attitude of the entire staff is "Lets get them help fast and lets do it now"!!! If, when on those very rare occasions, she does not know or cannot perform what it takes to take care of your problem, she certainly has a line to those physicians that do and I have never had to wake long for a referral appointment and on top of that, you can tell by the way you are treated on the referral that Doctor Taunks patient is here means something to that physician too. You have a lot of doctors out there. You have a lot of people looking for good doctors. If, by the grace of God, you happen to hear, read, see or whatever that Dr. Vijay Taunk down in Palm Harbor is a good doctor to have, then check this doctor out and see how she satisfies you!!! I do believe that she will do whatever it takes to solve your problems and she will do it in the fastest, safest possible way. I have been with Dr. Taunk now for going on 10 years and I am so happy & pleased to brag on her when I can. I have been under the care & guidance of Dr. Taunk and her staff for nearly two years now. She is the best G.P. I have ever been acquianted with in my life. She displays all the qualities I hope to have with a doctor: compassion, understanding, and she is always present--in the moment. Never once has she displayed a sense of supiority, condesention, or the general "you dont know squat" air that most (but not all) doctors seem to carry around with them throughout their careers. There is a common denominator when I see Dr. Taunk. We are both human. Period. Her "bedside manner" is second-to-none. When she has to be stern, blunt, or strait forward she does so in a way that I have never felt uncomfortable or "put off" by what she had to say or how she said it (as well never a hint of negative body language.) I told my mother (a retired nurse of 50 years) about Dr. Taunk (basically what I just wrote above) and my moms response was, "wow, you got lucky to find her." Indeed mom I am lucky to have found Dr Taunk.

I meet Dr. Vijay Taunk in 2007. My mother was very sick and was in the hospital. Her primary physician was not on staff at Mease Countryside which is where my mother was. Dr. Taunk was the attending physician at that time. I was immediately impressed with her care and concern for my mother. It was genuine. She would always talk with me and not at me. She would always answer my questions regarding my mothers health and well being. I asked her if she would take my mother on as a new patient once she was released from the hospital. I was overjoyed when she answered yes. Well its been seven years and even some life threatening times for my mom. Thank God my mother is doing good. We are very happy and pleased with Dr. Vijay Taunk. In fact, we love her. She is amazing. When you find a great doctor...you stop looking.

My husband was the type of person that would not go to the doctors. When he was admitted to Countryside Hospital for high blood pressure when his father was dying he met Dr. Taunk. It was the first time he had ever seen a doctor in years. Dr. Taunk listened and was very attentively and explained his medical situation and was very clear and made him feel at ease. He has been going to her ever since and wont go to anyone else. Our whole family goes to her. She is truly one of the best doctors we have ever had, she really has a wonderful and a truly caring personality. Her staff is very awesome. Anytime we call her staff has always been great and very polite. Dr. Taunk is a wonderful person and a very good doctor. We just love her. Pamela Cone

Dr. Taunk was the most unpleasant doctor Ive ever dealt with. Ive seen various doctors, walk ins, and hospitals over the years and Dr. Taunk was easily the most memorable one Ive ever seen - in a very bad way. She was unprofessional, condescending, and rude. A simple visit for a refill for an ongoing (over 2 years) prescription became a witch hunt, and she tried forcing return visits for more money rather than genuine patient care. I would not recommend her to anyone that cares about their familys best interests.

We moved to the area about 5 years ago and each doctor we tried closed after a few months...Finally, we found Dr. Taunk and we will not go anywhere else, she is awesome! Her staff is great as well, even though I tend to be a pain and have to make last minute changes to my appointment time, they do their best to accommodate. I recommend them to anyone looking for a Dr that cares about you!

Dr. Taunk is a spectacular physician. She shows a level of caring that I have never experience with a physician. Her appointment always start within 5 minutes of scheduled time. Her staff is fantastic and friendly. If you are looking for a doctor that cares, see Dr. Taunk.

Dr Taunk and her girls are simply the best! I feel that I got a very through exam and Dr Taunk listened to my concerns and aaddressed them all. I also love that the office has a very laid back, "family" atmosphere. I will definitely be keeping her as my doctor!!

I like her diagnostic skills. She also expresses a ton of plain spoken common sense. She is always on time, no more than 5 minutes wait no matter the day or time of day. Her staff is great too, always pleasant and very efficient. I cannot ask more from a doctor.

The phone is always busy, cant get a hold off any of her staff!!!!! The doctor does not have a answering system to leave a message or call back. Im switching from this one man operation to a multiple, at least I can get to see a doctor when I need one.

The staff was very welcoming. Doctor was nice, but I do wish the examination felt more thorough of problem area. I feel as though she did not see what I saw, but she is a doctor and maybe I am just a worrier!
