On Friday July 28, 2017 I called to make an appointment for well child care checkups for my 2 children. I was asked their insurance which is United Healthcare with my employer. I gave her my group and ID number. The appointments were scheduled for Monday July 31, 2017 at 2:30. At the appointment I was told by the receptionist that since I previously was on medicaid, they could not see my children. My insurance is not medicaid and I have not applied for it. As an African American women she discriminated against me by even assuming I had some type of medicaid. She had no reason to look up my prior insurance and no reason to deny me health check ups for my children. My children are healthy and have had no health issues. I missed work and as a courtesy they could have called and informed me. The receptionist told me she left a voicemail but she did not. She told me they cant accept people like me right there in front of my children. I missed work if they dont want black people or single moms or whatever that is fine but I missed compensation from my job and called in with no Doctors note. This is appalling that African Americans are treated this way this day and age.

I have been taking my daughter to see Dr. Steven Rodriguez @ ABC Pediatrics for the past 2.5 yrs and I have to tell you, These people are awesome!! They make sure your child is safe and sound. I can call on a moments notice and they always try to help. When they look for preventive ways, they pull out more than one standard option. When your child is changing and you do not understand, they go the extra mile to help you understand . This doctor LISTENS, not just to you but also to your child. My daughter nurse is Jessica and I can tell you that my daughter is as comfortable talking to Dr. Rodriguez and Jessica as she is with me... I wanna let people know, if you are looking for a doctor and staff that know their stuff and really want to keep your family doing and feeling well, this is a great place. A good doctor is really hard to find. Glad I dont have to search anymore.

When my daughter was ill seven years ago, no one could figure out what was wrong. I met Dr. Rodrigues as an ER consult at THA and loved his bed side manners. Since then I knew I could trust him with all four of my kids. Not only is he knowledgable and has great advice, but the staff has been there since I have been going to their office. I always feel welcomed and my kids love them. Misty, Diana, and Jackie are always smiling and friendly! The office is always clean and I have never have waited for more than 10 min.

My daugher has been going to ABC since she was a newborn! She has literally seen all the doctors there Davis, Rodrigues, and Rosales! She normally sees doctor davis but when she would be booked up whether for sick or check up she would see the other 2. Love this office and the entire staff! We had a not so great experience with other offices when she was born until i found ABC! She will be going here until she reaches maximum age! They are caring, friendly, loving and compassionate people! Definitely recommend!

I love this facility and Dr Rosales. In fact, we love her so much we drive from Richardson to see her after our move. Rosales shows amazing compassion and attention to detail. She came to see my wife after she gave birth even though it was her day off. The list of positive experiences we have had hear would be a lengthy post so to summarize they get my full hearted endorsement.

Weve been going to ABC Pediatrics for ten years now. The Doctors and their staff are just wonderful. I highly recommend using them. Our first baby was six weeks early and was very sick for the first two years of her life. Dr. Davis takes time to explain in detail your childrens health. We will continue to use them until our children are no longer allowed there!

This was our first time going to this office. They were able to get us in the same day. The office is beautiful and very clean. The staff was so nice and I couldnt ask for a better experience with Dr Marisa Rosales. She is awesome. Very personable and detailed. She didnt make us feel rushed at all. We would definitely recommend ABC pediatrics.

We love Dr Rosales,She has genuine passion for kids and also takes time to explain every detail about anything that in happening with your kids. I have a 3 year old daughter and 10 year old son and She is very good with both.

Dr. Rosales is Amazing. I LOVE her! She makes the kids and parents feel comfortable, she is sweet, kind and caring. However, front desk staff, just isnt friendly.
