I hopped through several veterinarians in town before I settled on one. Dr. Holden is the absolute best. He is not interested in money, but the wellness of your pets. He advocates conservative medicine and does not push you into expensive diagnostics/surgeries. If you do want diagnostics/surgeries, he is more than happy to set the appointments up for you with another veterinarian that does have the equipment. Dr. Holden is the best vet we have ever had, and this is our 5th dog. He takes the time to observe your pet before rushing in to diagnose. He explains the possible causes and circumstances that might explain what is happening to your pet. He makes sure that you understand what to do when you leave to help your pet get better. His assistant, Miss Holly, is very friendly and helpful as well. We live right behind the vet office, and on the rare occasions my dog escapes from her electric fence, she goes right there for doggy bones. My dog even loves the vet, which is saying something.

Doctor Holden is an excellent vet. He works to make sure you know how best to take care of your pet, so you dont have to see him that often. When you do need to see him, his schedule is very accommodating. Hes understanding of whatever budget you might be on as well. Recently we had to put down one of our cats. He helped us exhaust our options before we had to come to the decision, and when it happened he walked us through it very gently. He even sent us a handwritten condolence card afterwards, which was a nice and unexpected surprise. I cant recommend him enough.

The staff and doctors are the most compassionate veterinarians Ive ever met. They understand that our animals are our family I highly recommend them to all. The pricing is very modest and they are very thorough in every aspect. During my saddest time, they made sure my 18 yrs with my Aussie ended with love and the respect he deserved. They did everything in their power to make a sad time tolerable. If you need a vet, this is the one to choose. ...

Our Snickers saw Dr. Duncan on Wednesday, she and staff member were outstanding with our timid chihuahua. Dr. Duncan diagnosed his anal gland issues and did a good exam. Snickers is back to his happy self with a wagging tail. Dr. Jim and Dr. Duncan our tops in our book. Dont hestitate to call them for your furry friend.

Fantastic, compassionate office where we have taken our cats (dating back to Holly Hill) for decades. However, limited hours downtown have caused issues with our pets before...when they are sick, often its days to get seen as they are not there.
