This was our second time seeing Dr Katie, and Im glad we did. The first time and impression werent great, but our 12 year old lab was really sick and we wanted someone who had seen him in his normal healthy state before this incident. The staff listened to our concerns, Dr Katie did as well, and although she wasnt sure about the diagnosis without further testing and biopsy, Dr Katie talked us through her thought process, what she felt may be going on with him, and why. She took her time, was courteous and respectful, and asked questions. We were asked what we thought and what we wanted for him, and then she THOROUGHLY discussed with us the additional testing and treatment options for the differential diagnoses. Most importantly the result: The old guy has been on the prescribed medication now for one full week. HE FEELS SO MUCH BETTER THAT HE IS ALMOST KEEPING UP WITH THE 1 1/2 YEAR OLD PUPPY! AMAZING!!!!! We are overjoyed that he is doing so well, and it is all due to the excellent care we received from Dr Katie and her staff. We must have caught her on a bad day last time, and Lord knows that even the best of us can have those. Everyone deserves a second chance. Im so glad that we took him to see her and we are very thankful that he is feeling so much better with the treatment she recommended!!!! Thank you, Dr Katie and staff!!!!!! :-D

We adopted our dog Liberty from the pound in 2008. She promptly made herself right at home and chewed a bunch of sound system wires. Dogs will be dogs (we hadnt trained her at that point), but this was a much bigger problem because she had swallowed a copper wire that was lodged in the top of her small intestine. I do not exaggerate when I say that Dr. Katie and the staff at VCF saved Libertys life. Over the last 7 years, she has proven to be a great dog and a faithful friend... a relationship that I am certain never would have happened without the compassionate and competent care she received at VCF. From the nurses keeping her company overnight after her surgery, to the many follow up calls and patience when answering our questions, VCF is definitely focused on making sure your friend is healthy and your experience is amazing. Cant say enough good things about this clinic. Dr. Katie is an amazing vet and a genuinely good person. Looking forward to being a customer for many years to come. Thanks for all your help.

Dr. Katie and Dr. Anna and their staff are awesome! Recently, one of my dogs time with us had come to an end. Although Ive been through this a few times before, it is never easy. However, my experience with Dr. Anna and staff in helping my little guy Ranger pass was something I had not experienced previously. They are kind, understanding and supportive to all involved through this difficult time. And, they were able to help us at 9am on a Sunday morning--at no extra fee! In more than 20 years of having dogs as part of my life, I have never experienced the caring support that they provided. THANK YOU Dr. Anna and Dr. Katie for all you do for all you do!

I took my baby boy to 3 different vet offices before finding VCF and couldnt be more blessed to have found them. The entire staff whether its over the phone or in person have been absolutely phenomenal, caring, compassionate and genuinely concerned for my boys health my peace of mind and the financial aspect by always thoroughly laying down the plan and taking it one step at a time never pressuring me into anything I dont feel comfortable with. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a vet office. Dr. Katie has always been very good. However, today we saw Dr. Adriana Odachowski who earned her DVM at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She was rude to my family, and she was mean and cruel to my dogs. Her abusive treatment toward my dogs was appalling. After her nasty treatment of my first dog, we left before she could treat my second dog. I have never had to leave a vet office in the middle of the appointment, but I refused to subject any more of my animals to her scary behavior.

The facility is attractive, comfortable and state of the art. Dr. Anna is a great and compassionate doctor. But If you get Dr. Katie expect to be talked down to and treated with no respect. And that was the first meeting. If it wasnt for Dr. Anna we would never go back.
