I do not normally write a review but, the longer I watch my dog the more angry I become. I dropped my two dogs off at 8am this morning 12/3/15 for a comprehensive exam which is part of the policy I bought. I was told they need the dogs for a couple hours, I asked if it was possible to pick them up in the afternoon, no problem I was told. At 12:50pm I phoned to say I would be there between 1:15 and 1:30pm, I was put on hold and told that they would not be ready until at least 2pm, I asked if everything was alright seeing as the dogs had been there since 8am?, I was told everything was ok. I go at 2pm to pick my dogs up. When my dogs come out I notice my younger one is very red almost pink on the nose area and it goes up to his eye brows(he has white short hair) and he has slobbered all over his front legs and paws. both dogs are very stressed and panting like crazy. I get in my car and notice my younger dogs nose is swollen and upon closer examination there are scraps and cuts on it..hmmm, I go back in the store with my dog and say to the front desk clerk, "my dogs nose is swollen and he has cuts can someone tell me what that is all about?" she goes back to talk to the DR who is on lunch apparently and says she will be about 10mins more, so I sit in the waiting room for a good 20mins. as I am sitting there my dog is panting like crazy, and he lays down between my feet and rolls over...there are red scratches all over his neck now I am very upset and start to really examine my dog, he has scratches on the insides of his ears and when I go to look closer he pulls away and starts shaking his head, like his ear is bothering him..the DR comes out and looks at my dog and swears those marks were not there when she examined him..hmm ok then she states that he defecated not once but twice in the kennel and they had to bathe him and then says the "marks are common in that bread of dog".....really, I said, he is two years old and has never had those marks before? I said to her, you had my dogs since 8am and it was 2pm when I picked them up and no one took them out of their kennels or gave them water or anything?? 6 HOURS they were left in a kennel and not once was checked on??? WOW...she offers to give him a shot of an anti-inflammatory to take the swelling down..I was pissed, I had to leave or I was going to blow a head gasket. when I get my dogs home they drink water like I have never witnessed..they are skittish and frightened at every little noise...they wont play..my little one wont go near my husband, his best buddy.....I find him licking his paw only to find more scratches....my take, they crated my dogs ALL 6hours and then rushed to do tests...my little guy was trying to dig himself out of the crate...I truly feel that the neck scratches are from when they bathed him...this place is horrible!! I would never bring my dogs back here again, EVER! if you care about your animals beware because they do not care! (I took pictures of his wounds and I if I know how to upload them I would)

Brought my puppy here... kind of scared because Ive been kind of screwed before by vets with high standards... Dr. Rodriguez and his assistant (Im gonna butcher her name), Oskana (I checked out her name tag for a brief moment... wish I looked closer), but they were absolutely fantastic! I didnt get definite answers, but I know my pup doesnt have any parasites.. were hoping just inflammation that he prescribed antibiotics for and a special kind food will fix... Ill be able to tell in 2 weeks. Im just glad I wasnt forced into any testings that were unnecessary at this time. They were both upfront and honest. Its all I ask from a vet. Id spend the money, but dont make me if its not necessary... so for that, Im thankful to these guys! Highly recommend for my first time.

Took my dog in for the first time today and was impressed with the vet and vet tech. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My dog has some tricky ear issues and Dr. Taggart was extremely helpful. I also like their Wellness plan that allows me to pay monthly for a years worth of shots, tests, and check ups. Was very pleasantly surprised after reading reviews.

Dr Taggert and Dr Rodriguez, along with the entire staff at Oldsmar Banfield are amazing and they genuinely care for their patients. My Buddy and Bo are always in good hands.I wouldnt trust them to anyone else!
