My wife witnessed an endangered Eastern box turtle get hit and she picked it up to attempt to get it help. Called the Ohio Bird Sanctuary, where we have visited and knew they cared for injured birds, who gave us a few specialty reptile care referrals. One of those indicated this place was closer to us than an Ashland or Mansfield facility. First thing asked, rather than inquiring about nature of injury, was if we were existing clients and then we were bluntly told "well you know, somebody has to pay". Maybe I was a fool to volunteer in my communities and also do all of the bro bono mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. for those in financial straights? We have advised them to take your name OFF of the list of providers. Glad I volunteered to run into fire, extricate crash victims, and provide EMS care for over 3 decades to watch society evolve into electronic device controlled, almighty buck chasers. God has a place for His creatures even when man, who He has blessed with knowledge, training, and equipment wont even attempt to help. Sad.

I loved this vet when Dr.Gregg was there. I took my Rottweiler in to Dubusky to get a full exam and get treated, and my Rottie hated him (he loves everyone esp Dr. Gregg when he was there!) So instead of manning up and doing the exam he never got near my Rottie! What did I pay for!?!? Also I am now banned from going to this vets office bc I missed a few appointments due to my personal medical reasons I could not control... Dubusky is the one that made that decision... Thats not even right you turn away animals in need? Its fine Ive found a way better vet anyway, Dr. Amanda Rogers! I guess everything happens for a reason!!! Staff was always friendly at Hillside Vet, nothing against them at all!!

Worst vets ever!! I took my 6 month old kitten to them. They werent gentle with him at all. Missed a lot of stuff wrong with him. Didnt tell us clearly or in detail what all was going on. Told us he would be back to normal in a couple days. He passed away less than 24 hours later. Avoid them at all costs. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Price at the Town and Country Veterinary Clinic. He helped us get through the passing of our sweet baby boy.

The staff and veterinarians here have always been professional and caring since I started coming here almost 20 years ago. The facility is always spotlessly clean (including the boarding area), the staff compassionate and the hours convenient.
