I am proud to praise the efforts and great dental work and treatment I receive here.The Staff are professional and ensure you are satisfied and understand all aspects of care and billing.Dr Lathuras is a dentists dentist . She and Andrea made a crown for me today. Prior to ,Marquita performed a cleaning painlessly and thoroughly. I have also had crowns made by DrsTawk and Zekaj.They were also exceptional. You cant go wrong here! Take it from a guy who at 6 years of age had 11 cavities his first dental trip. I saw Dr.Harry Leven on Bank St. in Wtby.and In order to save my parents money I had them all drilled and filled in 2 visits without novacaine because the sign in the window said that cost extra. I am a registerd nurse for 22 years and I know how much effort is required to satisfy health care consumers. I also , thanks to Dr Lathuras and crew know what it is like to receive that high standard of care.You are to be commended for your dedication and altruism in underserved areas ,most recently Jamaica,(not Haiti but same place! LOL!!)These guys work with the precision of neurosurgeons and hearts of angels. The office staff included.. Bravo!! Nothing negative from me today and believe it or not I am tough to please..JIM

Yesterday was my first experience with Sunrise Family Dental. I had been a patient with another dental practice for the past three to four years, but was unhappy with the care. Upon arriving at Sunrise, I was taken in very quickly and was surprised and pleased with how thorough and informative my routine cleaning was! Andrea, Damaris, and Dr. Zekaj each took care of me and answered my questions without making me feel like they were in a hurry. They each explained what they were doing and why, and gave me realistic suggestions on how to improve my dental health. The advanced technology in the office seemed to be a useful tool in helping the staff to better determine potential dental problems (or to verify that there are none) and how to overcome them. I had not encountered much of the technology prior to my visit yesterday. Finally, Sunrise and the people who work there seem to be active practitioners of the culture they have established for the business. There were several signs displaying the tenets of that culture as well as many photographs celebrating the volunteer efforts of the practice. I was impressed and will happily return!

If I could give zero stars I would. One of the WORST experiences Ive EVER went through in my lifetime. My two year old son who is still OBVIOUSLY A BABY is scared of doctors offices of any kind specifically when being held down to complete a procedure. However every other doctor or dentist that weve been through has been so PATIENT and understanding due to the fact that he is still a baby and is scared (which is normal). Two different staff members, one being a doctor were unable to even get a picture of his teeth because they were too afraid to do anything while he cried. They literally walked in shushing our baby saying we needed to give him anesthesia and put him under because they dont know how to deal with crying babies at the dentist office (which is hard to believe). They started giving him random dentistry tools to hold on his own even though we told them not to TWICE because theyre dangerous. They were being RUDE and talking down to us and we ended up leaving without doing anything. ANY PARENT WITH A BABY BEWARE OF THIS HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL LAME EXCUSE FOR A DENTIST OFFICE.

I have some difficulty, particularly with gagging when X-rays are taken. Nora at Sunrise was very patient, compassionate, and reassuring. She took the time to care and work with me so that this was done with the minimal amount of discomfort. She did my X-rays in such a quick and effective manner that there was no need to retake any. I was also seen by Lindita, who did my cleaning, She put me at ease and was always looking out for my comfort during the cleaning. She took an interest in me as a patient and worked with me to ensure my comfort. I also had some fillings that I had since childhood redone. Dr. Zekaj and Nora worked with me to ensure I had no discomfort, working quickly and effectively as a team so that my time in the chair with my mouth open was minimized. They let me know what they were doing along the way, and how much longer they needed to work on my teeth. Ive been to other dental offices in the past, and I have to say, the folks at Sunrise are the best.

I LOVE being a patient of Sunrise Family dental! From the moment you call to make an appointment to the moment you leave the office, you are treated with empathy, kindness and respect. The office staff is always warm, friendly and accommodating. They also do a great job with prompt scheduling and thoroughly explaining any and all billing and insurance questions. Dr. Zekaj and her team are absolutely wonderful. They always educate me on any procedures and concerns that I have and take their time during appointments to make sure that I am comfortable and without anxiety. They especially handle dental emergencies well. I recently had an issue and they saw me the same day, did an evaluation and made a care plan for treatment immediately (they even call you to check in on your healing progress afterwards). I used to dread going to the dentist but I am beyond thankful that I found Sunrise, they truly make their patients their top priority.

So I am one of those people who are terrified of the dentist. The lights, the sounds, the smell causes me to basically go into a serious panic attack. My anxiety with visiting the dentist comes from having years of work done by "professionals" who didnt listen to my needs. So when I finally decided I really needed to start taking better care of my oral health my 16 year old assured me that I would be in good hands with the team at Sunrise. Dr. Regina listened to basically all of my "irrational" fears and assured me that I was "normal" (wish I could insert an emoji here), I was scheduled with Marquita for my overdue cleaning which meant- the dreaded deep cleaning. I explained my fears as well as my teeth that are wicked sensitive. She prepped and numbed and I pretty much dozed off during my cleaning. Needless to say this team has a diehard patient and fan for life. Five star is an absolute understatement for this team.

From the moment I walk into the office - I feel the love from both Nora and Dr. Zekaj. They both greet me with such a warm smile and a genuine care. The two of them are by far a dynamic duo- gentle caring women. I look forward to coming to the dentist (dont believe many people do). I feel so at peace when I have these two working on my teeth. I leave the office filled with happiness and gratitude for Nora and Dr. Zekaj. People think I am nuts when I brag about going to the dentist- and I always tell them what an amazing team I have at my dentists office. I am ever so grateful to both Nora and Dr. Zekaj.

Just got back from Sunrise Dental and my experience was very good! The receptionists at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. I had a procedure done by Dr. Zekaj, with Nora assisting and it went very well. I had no pain and the procedure was done in an expeditious manner. Additionally, Dr. Zekaj spent time with me before the procedure discussing another health concern of mine, showing genuine concern for my overall health and well-being. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
