The most useless medical practice. Im not even sure who theyre there for. If you are ill and need to see the Dr. they tell you to go to a walk-in clinic because their schedule for the week fills up on Monday mornings. If you want to make an appointment for the following week for something routine, too bad, you can only make appointments for the current week, and if youre not calling on Monday the current week is already booked up. Pretty much, if you want to make an appointment to ever see this Dr. you need to call first thing Monday morning. I once needed to see the Dr. for an illness and called at 8:30 am Monday morning only to be on hold and promptly diverted to a voicemail. This happened twice before finally getting through to a human at around 8:40 am. I asked for an appointment that day and they had already filled up for Monday and Tuesday and couldnt see me until Wednesday. They literally filled up their schedule for 2 whole days in 10 minutes. The Drs themselves are okay, if you ever get an appointment to see them. You will spend a lot of time waiting in their office, though. Dont expect to be in and out of there, you will spend most of your time waiting around.

I had my 1st visit w/Dr. Elizabeth Biggers yesterday after my sister recommended her and I couldnt be more pleased with her and her entire staff. The wait time to see her was a minimal 5 mins (in the waiting room & in the patient room) and she gave me her undivided attention once she came into the patient room to see me. I have MS, so she listened to my concerns regarding my everyday health concerning my MS symptoms and other issues without ever interrupting me. She gave me sound advice regarding the issues I raised and also made other suggestions concerning my health. She was professional and straight to the point, which I very much appreciate. Her staff was very friendly from the receptionist (whom I mistakenly gave the wrong insurance card to at first and she laughed it off) to the phlebotomist who couldnt go to lunch until she took my blood and ran my urine test (she found my hard-to-reach vein the FIRST attempt which attests to her skill level). This was my 2nd attempt at a PCP with my new Medicare insurance (Florida Blue) and I hit the lottery with this office! Ill be going back to see her again in 3 months!

I made an appointment to establish care as I had moved from another state. The normal doctors didnt have any appointments available for 2 weeks so the staff gave me a Saturday appointment to see Jesse McAllsiter, a PA. They were very busy when I got there but I was seen to promptly. All I have to say is WOW! I have never been to a more condescending and rude "doctor" before. And in my life time Ive seen some condescending doctors. I was being grilled on my medications and why I was on them and why I havent quit. I have not one, but TWO life long, painful diseases that have no known cure...theres reasons Im on what Im on. After reading the 5 star reviews I expected more from this practice. I do plan on coming back to try to see the REAL doctors, I hope theyre a little more professional.

Being new to the area, it was scary trying to find a new PCP. I really lucked out when I found Biggers Family Medicine a couple of years ago. I have never had an issue trying to get an appointment. My medical concerns are handled promptly. Online scheduling and the ability to ask the doctor questions, make them number 1 in my book. Everyone from the receptionist, front intake, nursing staff, and phlebotomy are courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is great. Ive never had to wait more than 15 minutes in the waiting area. When the doctor walks in the room (again, never waited more than 15 minutes), they focus on you and spend the time necessary to listen and help.

Dr. Joel and his staff go above and beyond for their patients. I am brand new to the area, he didnt know me at all, yet treated me with respect and spent several hours working to get my medical needs met. He is very direct and honest, traits I value in a PCP. I know how scary it is to find a brand new PCP especially in Florida with all its complicated rules, but Dr. Joel is a safe bet, I would highly recommend him and being a RN and mom to a chronically ill child, I DO NOT recommend physicians often. But he seems to be the real deal, a true family practioner.

A local (we live in Brandon) Walk-in Clinic refer us (my wife and me) to Dr Biggers family practice (it was the end of 2011), and finally, we found a one of a kind medical care; friendly environment, knowledgeable treatment, inform alternatives to make the better decisions, excellent follow-up, the whole package in one place. We are so please with the practice that we include our daughter and, our two granddaughters by early 2013. My family and me are truly blessed to have Dr Biggers Family Medicine on our side, thank you so much, Dr.

First of all the Doctors are great but the guy in the front office that takes appointments is very rude you try to explain why you need to be seen and for the 5th time in a row the same guy says no appointments are being made until Monday but its only Thursday morning. I call today because I still need to get seen and get told there is no room today the doc is not in and the PA is booked go to the ER or urgent car (Click) he hangs up on me. He needs to learn how to talk to customers

Every one in Dr. Biggers office is very nice and helpful. Anytime we have an appointment we never have to wait very long. A special thank you to Troy... helped me so much while my husband was admitted at the hospital and after he was released. The nurse practitioner Dr. Wilson bedside manners are wonderful, he is patient and really explains everything very well. Liz and Al Barbuto

I rarely get sick and have had insurance for years but never used my insurance. But last 3 days Ive had major back, chest and abdomin pain. I am off today and tomorrow. I called around to doctors that my friends recommented and from Yellow Book. No one has opening or excepting new clients. Biggers did not have an answering machine. A sweet voice answered and was able to set me an appointment for tomorrow. So far, I have been treated as a human being and not just a number.
