My experience with Dr. Don and Dr. Porterfield has been fabulous; since the moment I walked in the door I have been very confident AHS was the place for me. Dr. Don and Dr. Porterfield are both thorough and professional and have given me much hope for my future physical condition. I have had increasing problems with my back for the past fifteen years beginning with spondylolysis when I was seventeen. My back pain has continually worsened over the years despite past deep tissue massage and chiropractic treatments. I have a physically demanding job and what I really needed is just what AHS offers, they use advanced and gentle techniques, are concerned about rehabilitation and strengthening weak areas, and have the necessary equipment to do so. Since receiving treatment and training from AHS in the last three months, I have continually grown stronger and I am more able to function at a normal level. I still have pain from time to time but I recover quickly and can perform daily tasks (like work, or playing with my kids) with little or no concern. Previously I had to sleep with couch cushions under my legs just to cope with the pain and resulting crookedness, but no more! I am able to sleep like a normal person and function normally when I wake up. If you, like me, have struggled with back pain that feels like a hacksaw blade is cutting through your spine, experienced pain levels that make you pass out, been unable to function at a normal level, and move with guarded fear that the next time you reach for something you could be in a world of hurt, then AHS is the place for you! I will add one caveat, Dr. Don and Dr. Porterfield are not miracle workers, they are very good doctors. If you truly want to get better, be sure to do everything they tell you to do when they tell you to do it, come in for the treatments when you are supposed to, and do the exercises they teach you. No one can wave a magic wand and do this for you. Rehabilitation involves hard work and takes time, but it is well worth it and you will have great help and support from AHS. Make the commitment and experience the benefit of pain free, worry free, health; I certainly have no regrets. Thank you AHS

Dr. Porterfield is the GREATEST chiropractor I have ever had the pleasure working with. His knowledge is unbelievable and his abilities far exceed my expectations. Couldnt ask for a better person to call on whenever something doesnt feel right. If you want to feel better, fast, see these guys!
