I worked for another veterinary group in LA, and it was so busy with people waiting two hours just to check out and pay and that was with four receptionists. I decided to check this place out on a whim--I lived near it and my senior cat was developing an URI. Im so glad I did! It is so calm in there, and so far, when I have an appointment at whatever time, my pets and I are in the room and the doctor is there at that time. The only time Ive spent waiting for a bit in the lobby is when I opted to wait for test results (and they offered to call, it just seemed silly when I live so close by). The staff is so kind and gentle, knowledgable and smart. Weve seen Dr. Einman and I really like her: shes honest about what treatments/medication you should definitely do, and what ones arent necessary but might be beneficial. Ive worked in vet offices in Ventura County, LA, and NYC, and based on what I billed over the years, I think their prices are really reasonable--especially for a city veterinary clinic. They dont oversell you on anything and they really make sure youre comfortable with whatever test, medication, or treatment they recommend before they do it. Highly recommend this practice. They remind me of my favorite vet in my boyfriends tiny, tiny Midwest hometown but better--Park La Brea gives you small town attention with big city resources.

Dr. Rattan is excellent vet that takes care of our animals as if they were his own. His level of detail and exploration into issues is truly first class. He was such a gift when our senior boy Wiley (cat) was nearing the end of his road. I trusted him implicitly with all the decisions he led us to, some of which were very complicated to understand. Wiley spend a few days in his care and the vet techs spoiled him with love. With our new rescue cats he has helped us navigate several unforeseen issues and he never ever pushes undue services upon us. The office manager Lisa is incredibly pleasant. There is one front desk attendant that is rude and clearly dispassionate about animals but she rarely handles our kitties when they visit and I wouldnt let her affect the review of an overall amazing practice.

I recently adopted a little puppy and had NO idea what the heck I was doing when calling around for a vet. After calling 7 other vet clinics, I got to speak with the most patient, informative, and loving receptionist (I believe her name is Lisa?). Anyway, she was able to answer my questions, schedule me an appointment that made sense for my little puppy; coupling her needed shots, exam, and other exams into one visit to save me money. I LOVE saving money! Cha-Ching! If you dont know where to start, start here :) I hope this is serves to be helpful.

It was time for my dog to have his eternal sleep. As a first time customer in Park La Brea Veterinary Care, I was doubtful and scared to come to a new place for my dogs service. Although 80% of the time I was there, I was in tears, the doctor and the rest of the staff were there by my side comforting me in this hard time. I am greatful for this place.

If you are ok with your vet giving an expired rabies vaccination which leads to your animal being quarantined abroad for 21 days and all expenses falling on you initially and one that does not answer emails while abroad to fill out a claim then this vet is for you!

My dogs & I have been clients here for over four years. Its a professional, intimate and caring office with great veterinarians. They recently remodeled their space and added an exam room. Id recommend it to anyone.

We have been going there for a few years now. The receptionist is great, very caring and patient, even when they seem to be busy. Dr. Rattan is also very nice and great with our cat.

I have been taking my pets here for nearly 5 years. Patient staff and they take the time to explain everything and are always happy to ask any questions I have.

Dont let the outside of the place fool you. This is a quality vet. Pleasant staff. Some reviewer said it was expensive. Not really, I think. Recommended.

Quality vet, but very expensive. You can get the same service for one-third the price at LA Pet Clinic or Hancock Park Vet.
