Just right, every time. Its hard to please all of the people all of the time, and people are more likely to complain than to compliment - so it makes sense why Banfield El Segundo is sitting just under 4 stars. I have been coming to this location with my two dogs for over 3 years. Dr. D, Dr. Liu and Dr. Hudson are all great options. Dr. D is the reason our 16 year Pomeranian is still around. Thorough, friendly staff. The wellness plans work and save us money. We receive EXCELLENT care here from check-in to check-out. 5 stars.

I called Banfield to get a quote for chipping my dog. When they told me $35, I asked if there were any other costs associated with the chipping process. They said no, there are not. Well, once you get the dog chipped, you have to go online and register it, which costs $18. These kind of surprises arent good. I wish the employee at Banfield would have divulged the true cost of the chipping process. Hence the bad review.

Just called to get an appointment (I paid for the plan which should include all vet visits) and the next available appointment is NEXT TUESDAY. Of course I could leave my 9 year old dog at the vet and he would sit in a cage until the vet can see him, which could take all day. What a terrible system! And a waste of money for me.

The vets at Banfield have always provided very good care for my dog, MacGregor. I Have never had any type of issues, so Im surprised by some of the reviews Ive read here. He is on the wellness plan, which is helpful in that it prompts me to get him to the vet as needed for routine care, vaccinations, etc.

Had a great experience with this Veterinary Hospital. Very easy to make an appointment online they even saw me earlier than expected. The veterinarian was very professional gave me all my options and Im pleased with the service my cat and I received.

I signed up for the wellness plan...$53 per month for a year. My dog died the next day. They want all the money. No refunds, tough luck, too bad.
