I had a beautiful eight year old Coker Spaniel. She was just happy to be alive and be around people. Then suddenly she lost appetite and start feeling lousy and having a strange cough which is highly unusual for a dog. I took her to the Animal Affordable Clinic for an exam. I told the doctor the symptoms, but he just ignored the symptoms. He did the blood work and send her home with antibiotics. A few days later I called to get results and they told me that she has an infection and because she is just out of heat it must be the uterus. I had to take her in immediately for an emergency surgery to remove the uterus. By now she has lost a lot of weight. She was admitted they told me that they would call me if they discover something that would be eventually fatal. I was called after surgery and being told that everything went fine and she is resting. I went to pick her up next morning and I was alarmed by how she looked. She was all in urine and she could barely move. After I brought her home I first cleaned her up and called a different clinic for an appointment. She did not eat for two days but she started the day of her second doctor appointment. When he saw her he noticed something very wrong in her chest and immediately ordered an x-ray. As they ware preparing her for the x-ray she collapsed and died. The x-ray showed that her hart was twice the size of a normal size and it pushed her lungs in to the rib cage. Her lungs ware full of water. The doctor at the Affordable Animal Clinic should listen to her lungs when I told him about the cough but he ignored instead he put her through the additional stress and pain of the surgery when she only had a few days to be with us. We are missing her tremendously.

This place was only option on a weekend when I had a emergency situation with my four legged best friend. I was quickly assured of what kind of place this is when I carried my 85 pound dying dog and no one even acknowledged we needed help. Th front desk people were obviously really tied up with their paperwork. When someone from the back came out and said I could bring him back. I was told I needed x amount of dollars to start emergency services. I pay for things.in cash only and I had to go to the bank the next day I ask for their help in allowing me to do that. Ill never forget the smug arrogant look on this guys face as he said, "you better pay me because your dogs dying and I dont work for free". Flat out shocking. As I carry my dogs body to the car, all of a sudden one the gals that was too busy when we walked in has all kinds of time to sell me cremation services and was a bit perplexed on why I was taking the dog home. I put the dog in the car and went back to speak to this clown vet and guess what..... hes not available ...... he is in surgery! Shocker!!! This is unacceptable and my next contact will be to his professional board and I will make it my lifes purpose to share this experience as often an as frequent as possible. They treated my dog like he was worthless and nothing but garbage. Stay away from Affordable Vet Clinic on Vermont in Torrance. Your guys are a pathetic excuse for humanity!!!

I would have given no stars...this facility now! is just a cash cow, no real pet care gets done here. four years ago I took our Sunshine here with 3 tumors, scheduled and paid over six hundred dollars to have them removed. When I went to get sunshine after he was cleared to come home. They forgot to remove the two smaller tumors and only removed the enormously obvious one on his back. They promised to make things right at no additional cost to me. I made several attempts after he healed up from his initial surgery, it was like speaking to the wall. Four years later, they never made it right! Most recently Dec.1st, 2016 at 8:30pm, they are open till 10...check anywhere they post theyre hours. I arrive at a lil after 8:30 with my Army Service Dog whom turns out was poisoned. Everybody knows about the golden hour, the faster you can get treated the better your chances. They refused to see him, the nurse said the doctor wasnt taking any more patients tonight had a few words and I left put my dog back in the car I was on the phone with my groomer trying to find another facility when I looked through the doctors office window he was sitting there on Facebook or my dog was slowly dying. I found another facility took me 45 minutes to find and then get to...needless to say he past away that night because of this places callous heart. I would suggest a different pet care facility.

Dont bother with this place. Called on Wednesday 9/13 to request a prescription fill, lady said they would send the request to doctor to have it filled in 24 hours as my pet had one pill left. I received no call back. I call Friday 9/15 for an update, and receptionist Rey said there wasnt any notes in regards to the request. Maybe they forgot to put in the request and thats fine we are only human, but this is not my only bad experience. During my first visit, I had Dr. Cho check my dog and he was great. The following two vets were terrible. One lady with a Russian accent who kept talking about her students, did not even touch my dog. Just looked at her and asked me to pick her up to check her stomach and still did not touch her. Third vet was some balding guy and he did not even approach us, just stood by the door way and asked me questions. He did not ask me to pick up my dog to see her skin progress or anything. He just filled her allergy prescription. The point of a check-up and follow-up is to actually check the patient. Very disappointed. Dont waste your money here.

0 STARS if it would allow me to place! Worst customer service ever.....definitely rude and not very intelligent young lady (dark hair/ somewhat humorously styled, very skinny) came from the back to help up front during the evening! She cant even follow their guidelines for walk-in customers(accepted until 8:30pm during 10Pm close days)! She consulted with a female receptionist (with multiple visible tattoos on arms, glasses, ponytail, somewhat big) that also severely lacked in customer service skills and intelligence(did not know/follow their policy/guidelines either). HORRID, JUST HORRID ( hands down!)! The overall mediocre scores here and mixed reviews are evidence that they pick and choose who to provide great customer service to, and thats not the way a successful business runs. You provide excellent service to all...period!

they made my 17 year old cat go through painful surgery and knowing surgery is serious specially at her age they decided not to give her any type of antibiotics 2 days later since she was there because they wanted her to stay there until they see she could be better. she got better the second day everything was fine but she ended up passing away when they didnt give her anymore medicine!!!! who the hell does that its major surgery but just because she seemed better doesnt mean no more medicine. according to them it was a heart attack but guess what they truly dont give a damn about your pets and the doctor will switch his story and reasons of why your pet passed away if you ask. im furious at myaelf for not reading reviews of this place she didnt have to die it was all their fault. I HATE THEM! Rip my lovely cat.
