The visit took a total of 2.5 hours most of which consisted of us waiting to be seen by the vet. The vet was super nice Ill give him that but this place rips you off like no other. I went in for a rabies shot for my dog and came out with a $380 bill. The vet suggested that I get some lab work for him since hes an old dog, he should have said btw it is going to cost you $200. I love my dog but I have bills to pay and parents to help out. Ziggy did not need a blood panel. Dogs get old thats a fact. He is not in pain and I felt like I was not informed properly in order to make my decision. I love my dog and I think this place takes advantage of our love for our pets. Ask questions thats all I suggest and if you dont want to wait long, try Park Community Animal Hospital on Rosemead, I never wait long and I never over pay.

Great experience. Very sympathetic, sincere and caring. Well be returning although we live in the IE. Pricing and service was excellent! Our dog was diagnosed with an enlarged Blatter. Family vet "Ontario veterinarian" wanted to charge us $400.00 to do the ultrasound in order to make an accurate diagnosis. I researched other vets outside of our area and found this vet. Who was significantly cheaper. I was dumfounded and so disappointed with family vet with the significance in price. This was our family vet for over 17 years. As you can guess we will not be returning! Dr. Beltran waited for us to arrive to exam our dog, which was past working hours. Cant praise Dr. Beltran and his staff enough.

I cant say enough how grateful I am to Dr. Beltran and his staff. Dr. Beltran is the most caring, thorough, genuine, honest, respectful and compassionate doctor Ive met. I wish my doctors were more like him. Our dog was old and had quite a few problems. Every time we went in, Dr. Beltran was just so pleasant to talk to. He took his time to explain everything, even though he is extremely busy. He was kind, assuring and personable. When we had to put our dog down, he was there to help us through the difficult time. Dr. Odama is like that too. As a matter of fact, every member of the staff there is very pleasant to deal with. They are the best and I highly recommend this practice!

First of all it was a 40 minute wait in the lobby until I saw a vet and a total of 2 hours for a few flea treatment drops and checkup. I didnt care for the hard sell / fear mongering of the vet either. I take my cat to the vet for her care - not to help you pad your bill with unnecessary shots. AND now I get more junk mail from this vet clinic than anyone else. Clicking on UNSUBSCRIBE doesnt help because they use long and unique email addresses every time. Tacky. The assistant who prepped my cat was very nice and helpful but thats about all I can say in favor of this place.

There arent enough words to describe how great Dr. Odama and Dr. Beltran are! I have been going to Veterinary Healthcare Center for over 10 years and never have I had a complaint. Both Doctors have helped me numerous times with doggie emergencies. They are both very kind and really love what they do which makes each visit enjoyable. The staff is also very kind and has always been able to help me with setting up appointments and taking care of my dogs. I will continue to use this Vet and recommend them to all my friends in the area.

Its worth our drive from marina del rey. We only bring our dogs to see Dr. Beltran and Dr. Odama. The wait varies...they do get busy and its only because they take the time to really take care of our babies imo. We are always explained thoroughly what the pups need, whats wrong worth them, etc. Weve even boarded our pups here. We chose to board here as it gives us more of a piece of mind. Now that we got a new pup we will need to make the drive over a little more, but we really do it for the service we get.

Love this place , my husband and I adopted from the North Central animal shelter and were given a voucher for a Vet exam. The Vet was great , super sweet , explained all the medications we had to give our new puppy (hes blind and had a eye infection). Staff was friendly and the clinic was clean and spacious. There is a small parking lot but plenty of street parking. The exam was $50 and 3 meds for $80.

Dr. Beltran & Dr. Odama are the best. Yes, you will wait a little longer than expected, but these two men know what they are doing. Weve been taking all our pets for the past 10 years to them. My family members also. Dont waste your money on other vets for wrong diagnostics when you can come here and get the right one. The Staff is awesome too!

Great facility and vets. They really care about the health and happiness of your companion animals. We have been going there for almost 8 years now and while the wait can be a bit long due to demand, it is always worth it. Dr. Beltran and his staff are top notch. No surprise that he was awarded National Vet of the Year.

Dr. Beltran and Dr.Odama are the best ever! They care about your pets and they are extremely knowledgeable and know their line of business. I would recommend this company to everyone they are so accommodating and treat our dogs with care! Our entire family has been going to Veterinary Healthcare Center for 15 years!

Dr Beltran and his staff are wonderful. Unfortunately, with the change in Vets, they have cut hours which is one of the reasons I came to them. The wait even with an appt can be very long. Pricing is a little on the high side but a very nice facility.

Everyone here is kind and extremely helpful.. Ive been taking my four dogs here since they were puppies and I wouldnt go anywhere else.. The reason its busy all the time is because the doctors and staff are awesome!!
