THESE PEOPLE ARE SWINDLERS. I am a 21-year-old college student. I went to this place for a checkup and cleaning after seeing positive reviews and checking their prices and the prices of several other dental offices near me. I do not have dental insurance and I hadnt been to the dentist in a couple of years, but I take good care of my teeth. After they cleaned my teeth and took X-rays, they told me I had several cavities. When I asked how many, they said there were nine. NINE CAVITIES. When I was checking out after just getting the x-rays, checkup and cleaning, they handed me a billing plan for filling all of the cavities and it totaled to about $3,000. I work 40 hours a week while going to school full-time in order to pay all of my own bills myself while living in an apartment that is NOT paid for by mommy and daddy, and I barely squeak by, so naturally I had a panic attack and began sobbing uncontrollably as soon as I walked out the door. There was no way I would ever be able to afford to fill those cavities. I thought my teeth were just going to rot out of my head, and I had no idea how this possibly could have happened. A few weeks later, I went back to my hometown to the dentist I have been seeing since I was in fifth grade, who has been practicing for 20-30 years, and she informed me that I had ONE CAVITY. Thats right: ONE. A pretty far cry from NINE. In fact, I have honestly never heard of a person who brushed their teeth twice a day AND ALSO FLOSSES TWICE A DAY, getting nine friggin cavities. The bottom line is that these people were totally dishonest with me and they tried to swindle a 21-year-old college student. If they had to defend themselves, they would call it "preventative maintenance." Further more, if I had gotten these unnecessary fillings, they would have popped out in a week and I would be out $3,000 that I do not have in the first place. These people will try to sell you care that you do not need, and they will milk every last dime out of you. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE LIARS.

It was terrible the staff bad mouthed the dentists. The dentist said that you should not clean the childs teeth before putting on the sealant. He claimed that if you clean the teeth it will have nothing to adhere to. For-real if you seal it and the kid has junk on the teeth dont you just seal in the sugars or what ever is on the teeth. Then he left and the assistant said dont lestin to him he is an idiot. then another assistant came in and said what an a$$#ole the curly headed dentist told them to reuse the things that had fell on the floor. I asked why he would do that she stated that gets madd if anything is thrown away even if he is the one that dropped the product. Then to top it off they said my kids have 2000 dollars worth of work that needed to be done on their teeth and we should cap the teeth. We left and went to another dentist asked aloha dental to send the x-rays they said they would that was 4 weeks ago and they still have not sent the x-rays. This place is a joke! They will rip you off!!!

i am disabled and have no medical. i went to aloha to have a broken jaw tooth removed. they offered a discount if i paid cash ( 294.00 ). they wanted the money up front which i thought odd. during the "text book extraction" i had to signal to the asst. to use the suction device because i was drowning in saliva and blood. after the extraction i asked the Dr. for pain meds and he said i didnt LOOK like i was in pain and offered up Ibuprofin, really Dr. Garcia, really! when the novocaine wore off the pain from having a jaw tooth pulled set in and i had a horrible night. bad judgement call Dr. Garcia! I will never recommend you to any human being. let me see you have a jaw tooth pulled and then take a glorified aspirin for that kind of pain. SHAME ON YOU ! you need to learn better judgement.

I had a great experience until I received a bill in the mail, even though I was told my procedures were going to be covered 100% by insurance. I am a college student and cannot afford for expensive procedures to be paid for out of pocket. I asked several times and was assured that they had checked with my insurance and the procedures would be covered in full. I wouldnt have had the sealants done if I knew that they would only be covered 80% on top of a copay I wasnt aware of. After calling about the issue, it was completely taken care of. I appreciate the professionalism and customer service, Ill definitely be back.

Awesome as always!!! My family uses the location in San Marcos and Austin and both are consistently friendly, clean, and professional. They also stand behind their work. I had a crown replaced about 9 months ago. Went in for a cleaning and the x-rays showed the new crown hung over a little to much and created a pocket. They offered to replace the crown at no charge. And everyone knows how much that costs. I wouldve never known anything was wrong until years down the road when I had to get a root canal or something nuts. Thank you Aloha Dental for being professional and honest!!! -Mary Turner

I took my 12 year old daughter to Aloha Dental today for some minor tooth pain. My neighbor takes her children here and she had really good things to say about the staff and the doctor. They were able to get us an appointment the same day! The doctor was really nice and took his time because my daughter was really anxious about going to the dentist. He was very gentle and patient. We both highly recommend Aloha Dental.

Ive never had a bad experience here. The staff is friendly and always treat you on a personal level. On one occasion, I had a difficult time during a procedure and they stopped, made sure I was ok and took the time to help me before resuming. Ive been to places where they just want to get you in and out and dont care if you are in pain. Not here. Always a good experience, all things considered.

This was my first appointment with Aloha and I am not satisfied with the result. I made my appointment to have the cleaning process and I ASKED IF I CAN HAVE THIS SERVICE EVEN IF IT IS MY FIRST MEETING and I was told that it is possible. After general inspection of my oral condition they just set me a plan of treatment and told me I have to come back for cleaning!!!

The staff is always sweet, and they take an interest in me as a human person. They remember where I work and they ask me about my wife every time. The dentists and assistants are very nice and relaxing. They used to play reggae every Friday, but I think that they have stopped. I pass about 7 dentists offices between my home and there. I wont go anywhere else.

I have been going to Aloha Dental in San Marcos for 2 years now and they have never failed to be super friendly on top of wonderful, competent service. I have severe dental anxiety and despise in the chair, yet the techs and providers at Aloha know how to put me at ease. I always leave with a pearly white smile.
