Moving to a brand new community where you know no one, can be stressful in itself. But add on extreme dental pain and not a single soul to ask for advice in who to call and more importantly who to stay away from. I found my self in that exact situation so I did what everyone else does, I started calling dentists and took the first appointment I could get. Little did I know I was find the pot of gold at the end of my dntal rainbow when I met Dr. Patel. Warm, friendly and welcoming I knew I had my dental "forever home". Growing up I had a mouth of devastion. With half of my front tooth missing and surrounded by cavities, I never smiled. I taugh myself to hide my mouth when I anticipated a laugh coming on. Seeing Dr. Patel changed all of that for me. After fixing my dental emergency, he and I worked on a treatment plan to have my very own smile makeover. A few months and a few visits later, I found myself learning to smile without covering my face. Since my makeover, I was able to to lose weight, get in shape and begin a dental career of my own. I am excited to say I am dental assistant and I have Dr. Patel to thank for giving me the confidence I needed to have a life I can not be happy with. Its safe to say I love my dentist and my smile makeover.

I have seen Dr. Patel for 10 years. From my very first visit to now I was made to feel welcome and comfortable by the staffs friendliness, knowledge and professionalism. Dr.Patel takes the time to explain all procedures - the pros and cons - so I am able to make my independent decision as to what procedure works best w my health and budget. His team is helpful, friendly and genuinely care about their clients and work. It is obvious they love what they do. I have had a ton of work done throughout the years and trust me, my smile looks natural and I cant stop smiling. Crowns, cavities, veneers and invisalign and they really try to work w my busy hectic schedule. Thank you Lakeway Smiles for my great smile and I actually look forward to going to the dentist! I know, right?! Who knew!

I recently had another great visit with Lakeway Smiles at the downtown location. After moving to Austin from another state, it took me some time to trust a new dentist. I did major research before choosing Dr. Patel. I have been a loyal patient for over a year now. My dental hygienist, Allison, along with Dr. Patel have gone to great lengths to educate me on my dental options as well as given me the best service Ive received in all my 34 years. My smile is very important to me, and they have helped me to make it even better! The entire staff is wonderful. The front desk lady, Laura, has work hand and hand with me making sure Im always up-to-date and what options I have with my insurance. I give this practice A++. Dr. Patel will be serving my entire family for all our dental needs.

I saw another local dentist over 2 years ago and was told I needed multiple fillings, sealants, procedures, etc. I found this hard to believe because I had never had a single dental problem in the past. This experience made me so upset that I avoided dental visits for the first time in my life. After meeting Dr. Patel at a local event, and hearing good things from a few of his patients, I finally decided to return to see a dentist. I am very happy that I chose Dr. Patel. Top-notch service from the front office staff, the dental hygienist, and the doctor himself. And surprise- I didnt need any fillings! An honest man! AND, the office staff has gone out of their way to work with my difficult insurance! A+ and highly recommended.

I was referred to Lakeway Smiless Downtown location from several co-workers. The location is very convenient for anyone who works downtown. After seeing Dr. Patel for a little over a year I finally made the decision to get 6 veneers done to perfect my smile. The overall process took a few weeks and I could not be any happier with the end result. Dr. Patel and his assistant Kelly went above and beyond any expectations I had through the process from making sure I was comfortable and 100% happy with the end result. His attention to detail and compassion proved that he treats every patient with the up most care and respect.

I am so thrilled with my new smile and the team at Lakeway Smiles. I had badly formed enamel and tetracycline staining before I let Dr. Patel work his magic. Not only is my new smile terrific, but it changed the whole appearance of my face. Im getting so many compliments. This may sound strange but I actually enjoy going to see Dr Patel and the entire staff - Call me nuts but its so much fun - I probably annoy them all cuz I laugh too much and too loud - They spend quality time with me and it makes for a very professional visit- The bookkeeper even helped me work the price of implants down to a price I was comfortable with - Very sweet - Theyre kinda like family to me now and I cant wait to see them again - Im a very happy patient with a big smile now thanks to all of them - A Skiba

Dr. Patel and all of the staff at Lakeway Smiles are awesome! They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable during your appointments. I cannot stand drills and shots (who likes them...). When Dr. Patel numbs my gums, I barely feel the shot. Seriously! I am a fairly new patient of Lakeway Smiles (2+ years now), and the downtown Austin location is super convenient (parking in the garage of his office building, and Lakeway Smiles pays the parking). I highly recommend Lakeway Smiles, and my dentist Dr. Patel.

After many bad experiences with other dentists offices, I solicited some friends and family for recommendations and ended being referred to lakeway smiles. My family now uses the downtown location for all of our dental needs. Collectively my family has been here for about 4 or 5 visits and so far our experience has been excellent. The staff is always friendly and makes us feel comfortable and at ease. At this point, I feel I have finally found a good dentist in Austin.
