Co-operatively Unco-operative (No Stars) I have been going to Dr Shirk since she was at Walmart and she is a caring doctor, but I just had an expensive, unfortunate experience with her. The reason they cannot make glasses for me is "there is some distortion in their lenses". Unbelievable, I need glasses so I can see clearly. This began 3 months ago. I didnt like the first pair of glasses ($700) and couldnt get used to the lens, so they were changed with different frames (another $100), but these were worse, the magnification coming up too high in the lens causing me to feel like I was on stilts, I kept tripping and couldnt play golfin them. After returning to Trinity for adjustments so many times I gave up and went to a new doctor for a second opinion. He gave me a new prescription and a week later I got glasses ($500) at Walmart that are perfect, so I went back to Trinity. They said they would put new lenses in their frames from the new prescription, but when the glasses came in there was distortion, so I asked for a refund since they could not make acceptable glasses for me. Ironically after a lengthy discussion, they agreed to a $281 refund on the frames which I really liked, because they could offer them for resale. Trinity does not offer satisfaction guaranteed, even though they say they do, so I am out over 500 bucks, a loss I will not repeat. Buyer Beware.

I have been a patient since Dr Shirk moved from the Walmart into her new place. Dr shirk is a good doctor. My only issue is with the office staff. Every time I go in there the person who does the insurance/billing has no idea what shes talking about. I understand my insurance and read my EOBs. My insurance allows me 100$ towards contacts with a 15% discount. Every time i go in there im told no im wrong that not what my insurance says. So i go through the same cycle every year of calling my insurance company to verify what I already know. Went in tonight to pick up my contacts and they charge me 96$ which would be the amount before the discount. I paid and went out to my car to re-read what my Davis vision EOB says (contacts processed...81$) So i go back in and ask to be credited back for the 15% discount which she did but had an attitude again just like when i spoke to her on the phone earlier in the week and told her its hard for me to get there because I too work in a doctors office with almost the same hours. Her reply was...but you live right down the street. I mean come on, learn how to talk to people. Extremely rude and unprofessional and honestly this will be my last time coming to this office. Too much of a hassle for me.

The girls are friendly and knowledgeable and they have a wide variety of frames to choose from. Dr. Shirk is at the top her game with all the latest technologies, and wait until you meet her....she is a cutie!

Dr. Shirk and her office staff are always wonderful! Thorough exam, excellent help with both contact lenses and glasses fittings, and just general great service. Angela does a wonderful job of guiding me when choosing new frames, and I always receive compliments, so they must fit my face!

The office is easy to get to and its beautiful inside. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and you are never left to wait more than 5 minutes. The doctor makes everything stress free and the staff help pick great frames that are right for your facial shape! I highly recommend!

Dr. Shirk is the best eye doctor I have ever had. The level of care that she provides is outstanding. She is patient and thorough during her exams. She makes sure you are comfortable and she is very pleasant. My prescription is always very accurate! I highly recommend her.

This is a great place to have your eyes examined. The doctor is thorough and professional. There is a great selection of prescription glasses and sun glasses, and the frames are stylish and trendy. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
