This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a professional office. I feel this way for many reasons. First off, Holland Dentistry has very high prices. Not only are the costs for, say a filling, extremely high, but there are hundreds of dollars of fees they do not notify you of in advance. I was very concerned about price and asked to be explained exactly what it would cost. While running through the expected bill, never was it mentioned that I would be charged additional amounts for things like the supplies used during the procedure. These additional costs were significant and my insurance did not cover them. A bill I expected to be $200 after my insurance, was around $600. I feel I was taken advantage of financially by this office because of my youth. Second, Dr. Holland is not a people person. He pretty much works on your teeth and leaves. When he spoke to me about my teeth he looked and spoke to his assistant, not me. Third, the procedure was extremely painful. I know, I know, the dentist hurts. However, this was the most intense and long lasting pain I have ever had from a dental procedure. I believe the way he injects the numbing medication caused the muscles in my face and jaw to be extremely sore and even droopy for at least a week. Fourth, the way this office manages its’ bill collection is very unprofessional. Because of before mentioned unexpected costs, I did not pay my bill for some time. When the office decided they were to a point where they wanted to turn it over to a collection agency I got one phone call with maybe a day before they planned to do so. I left three messages, panicked, before my call was returned. When leaving messages for me, the receptionist was very rude and spoke to me like she was scolding a child. This office is not one I will ever use again or recommend to anyone. Please choose another dentist in Paducah.

Ive always dreaded and feared going to the dentist. Needless to say, I didnt look forward to finding yet another dentist after moving to this area 6 years ago. Upon the recommendation of an acquaintance, I decided to try Dr. Hollands office. First of all, I liked the convenient location. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the office from the waiting area to the treatment areas and the genuine caring of the staff from the moment I walked in the door that first time, and every time since. It is so helpful to avoid the anticipatory anxiety that builds at most offices while in the waiting room. Rarely, have I not gone back to the treatment area soon after my arrival. It doesnt have THAT dentist office smell either! Jill is the most gentle and kind dental hygienist that I think Ive ever had to clean my teeth. Sarah has given more time and effort to helping find the most economical and practical alternatives to the treatments I needed. Dr. Holland has always made me feel like my comfort and well being is his first priority when he is providing my treatment. I cant say enough about the compassion and caring of the entire staff and would highly recommend Holland Dental Care to anyone.

Had what I would describe as some major restoration/cosmetic partial caps (composite fillings) done on my 3 front teeth due to major chips Ive had since childhood. The work Dr. Holland did was reconstruction as Ive had this work done before. I was quite apprehensive, this is a very sensitive area of the mouth to work on, as you can imagine; and your front two teeth are the first thing anyone notices when you smile, so it was critical to me the work be done right. THE FINISHED WORK IS PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not be more pleased with the outcome. He had to rebuild my front teeth almost completely, (speaking from a laymans perspective of course) and I and had minimal pain following the procedure the rest of the day or today, which is day 2!! I cant say enough good things about Dr. Holland and his professional staff.

I recently visited Holland Dental Care and have never been more impressed with a office....ever! After years of having such a severe phobia, I was able to get through not only an initial evaluation but returned to get my two front teeth repaired, which ended up looking like Id had the braces I had always wanted. They let my friend stay close by, they explained each step prior to performing anything and everything. Very courteous, kind and compassionate. Never thought I would be able to withstand the dentist office, but with Holland Dental Care, I actually am excited about returning.

My children get the best dental care there, and the staff is very patient with my daughter when she has difficulty in the dental environment. We are always treated with care and they schedule the appointments appropriately so that we have not had to wait a long time in the waiting room. I would recommend Dr. Holland to anyone.
