I have been a patient of HP Spine Center for over three decades, (back when it was Humber Clinic), and having Scoliosis since I was a teenager, the chiropractic technique practiced at HP Spine Center, (orthospinology), is the only type of chiropractic care that has provided continuous relief for my condition, (neck pain and lower back pain). My doctor at HP Spine Center, (Dr. Wayne Neal), has always been very diligent and thorough with my treatment. If you have a back or neck condition that has persisted, and you are at the point where you think nothing else will work, and are tired of taking pain pills that have side effects, I highly recommend you pay a visit to HP Spine center and let one of the fine doctors assess your condition. They have successfully treated and helped many that have thought they were just going to have to live with the continuous pain and discomfort.

I visit regularly and love it. Although it can be expensive, it is definitely worth it because this is the best chiropractic care around. They do not want to just "fix" your aches and pains temporarily and have you come back every few weeks; instead, they work in a very precise manner to make sure they are making only the smallest adjustments necessary to have your body heal itself. I only make an appointment when I feel I am out of alignment. They are very professional! Never rude. Always very friendly, nice, understanding, and welcoming - they act like they actually care about my wellbeing. They go above and beyond. During the first visit, they use every technique to make sure they are getting the most information about your body as possible, so that they can find the best way to treat you. Very pleased with my experience here.

I was told by an orthopedic surgeon that if I didnt have surgery for the 3 herniated disks in my neck, I would never be out of pain. They wanted to remove the discs, fuse in bone from my hip and install metal plates. Desperate for an alternative, I went and saw Dr. Parkerson. After four weeks of regular treatment, I was no longer in pain. That was over three years ago. I didnt have the surgery and the unbearable pain from the hibernated disks has never returned. I stop in for a maintenance adjustment when I start to feel a bit out and its usually because I was beating myself up with physical labor. One of the best decisions I ever made. Don’t mistake the specialty of Orthospinology with the usual practice of Chiropractic. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no comparison.

I started off with Dr. JK Humber way back when I was 12 years old. I had a motorcycle accident and later found out I had Scoliosis. I was told by Scottish Rite that I would need surgery to have a rod installed to correct my spine. I began getting adjustments from Dr JK and NEVER had to have the surgery. I have been an active patient for over 30 years now! I even worked at the clinic for Dr. Ken Humber after graduating from college. I saw many patients come into the office in a wheelchair and WALK out the front door upon leaving. That is amazing!!!! I have moved several times over the years but always make my trek over. I will not go anywhere else! Dr. Don, Dr. Wayne and Dr. Drew are all GREAT at what they do....keeping all of us healthy and moving pain free!!!!

Seven years ago I had a severe case of sciatica and I could hardly walk, even with a cane. I tried various remedies including several appointments with orthopedic MDs, acupuncture, epidural injections, and various chiropractors, all to no avail. I was then referred by a friend to the Humberson Parkerson Clinic and I was 100% cured with only a few visits. Now, seven years later, I am having another bout with sciatica and again I have achieved extraordinary results under the care of Dr. Parkerson and Dr. Neal. The clinic always honors my appointment time with rarely a wait over a few minutes, the bill for their services is surprisingly cheap, and the entire staff is friendly and delightful to deal with. I can highly recommend the Humber Parkerson Clinic!

I was feeling severe pain in my mid and lower back for quite some time that eventually started to affect my left leg. I finally decided to stop by the office and ask a few questions. They understood what my problem was and addressed it with clear responses. After my first few visits, I realized I can bend fourth and below without a drastic pull of pain, as well as manage my sleep better. The hospitality and staff are very friendly and attentive, and the appointments dont take too much time out of your day. It feels relieving to be able to do more movement without worry. They have various methods for pain relief and a thorough analysis to find the source of where your pain is so it can be treated. I highly recommend their services.

I have used chiropractic services for most of life, but this is by far the best, most accurate spinal care available. The care provided by HP Spine is a specialty called Orthospinology, and it has saved me and a few friends from having to go the route of surgery. Try it and you WILL be astounded at how you feel. Even if the clinic is out of the way for you, it is 100% worth the drive. I come from Dahlonega all the way to Smyrna (about an hour and a half) to seek THE BEST in chiropractic care, in fact, a different ball park altogether. Dr.s Parkerson, Neil, and Southerland have made all the difference in the quality of my life. Thanks HP Spine!

Dr. Southerland has worked wonders! I started my care 6 months ago for neck pain, headaches, lower back pain and a knee injury. I had constant pain sitting, working, sleeping, walking … basically all of my daily activities. Because of their gentle, expert care, I knew the HP Spine team was the only team I trusted to help. Thanks to Dr. Southerland my headaches are gone and I can live my life again pain free. Im just so thankful I can also take walks with my family again for the first time in many years. I cant say enough thanks to Dr. Parkerson, Dr.Southerland and the entire HP Spine staff for taking such excellent care of me.

I started with this "best Grostic clinic" in all the Southeast with J.K. Humber, Ken Humbers Dad, adjusting me. Since that day, Ive been adjusted by Ken, Don & Wayne. These guys, the girls that support them, and the HP Spine Center are truly the best with service, smiles, and making me feel so much better than when I arrived. In fact, Ive referred many people to this clinic and every one of them has been equally pleased. The only higher testimony is the myriad of other chiropractors in town who come to this clinic when they need to be adjusted. You are only hurting yourself if you dont give them a try. Youll be glad you did.

When I first went to Dr. Parkerson I really didnt expect a lot in the way of improvement. However, after several weeks of treatment I am feeling much better than I have in years. Not only is he helping my severe neck and lower back pain he has Dr. Sutherland working on a very painful elbow/lower forearm problem Ive had for over a year. They are the greatest. Also, their office staff is made up of some of the nicest ladies you would ever want to meet. The office is a true oasis of peace right from the time you step through the front door to the time you leave the "relaxation room" following your treatment.
